Not bad but real sport is not modeled at all.

Buyer beware. The real sport is not modeled in this game. There is no representation or concept of moving of a ball up and down a field. The kicking game, ball possession, boundaries, throwins, etc, etc,... None of the elements of this sport are modeled in this game. The teams are not real. Here's what this game "models": 4 quarters... You roll once per quarter Points... 6 for each dot on the red die, 1 for each dot on the white die. Those are the basic rules. A tiny bit of strategy where you can decide to reroll one die per turn. Timing your roll right allows you to manipulate the side a die lands on, which makes it way too easy to produce unrealistic scores. OpenFeint is used for online matchups but it hasn't worked for me yet. NO ACHIEVEMENTS. No GameCenter support. Boo! Be warned : this may be too simple for you. It is overpriced, and does NOT "closely model" the real sport. I plan to try Basketball, American Football (which is not available as of this review) on iPhone (cheaper). My guess is all of these games are re-skinned dice games that do not really model the sport accept for how points correlate to dice and how game time (quarter, inning, whatever) correlates to your turn count. Calling this "closely modeling" the actual sport is a stretch and quite misleading. Suggestions for improving this game: - change the description to something less misleading - add stat-based goals that reward with different types of dice and arenas so as we play we can build up a collection of these items and choose to used them. - add a tournament or a career or season mode.
