Good, but needs an update

The app is good. Sure, it rolls the dice in a low-g environment, making it take forever, and if something’s not flat on the surface, it will error, forcing a manual readout or reroll, but you have to TRY to break it for that to happen... usually. Sometimes you just get unlucky too. That all said, if you have a phone with the notch on top, be forewarned; this was designed well before the notch and it needs an update to deal with this.

This app is functional but it does not have anything other than the basic die set. It is all white and no option to change colors. There are free versions with the same functionality and the die colors can be purchased cheaper than what you paid for this.
Allow background music to play/Customizable hot keys

When I go into this app, there is no mute option of any sort that allows me to play music in the background or hear anything other than the dice being rolled, also I think the coin is much too slow to give you your result. You should also be able to make a savable roll, where you customize multiple dice you use for your character in D&D to be its own hot key.
Great on an iPad

Probably my favorite Dice rolling app on an iPad, as some other reviewers mentioned it doesn’t have as many features as some other apps, but the clean interface keeps you more immersed in the game you are playing. Just wish the dice were larger on the iPhone.

It is a very nice app. The gravity is far too slow. It takes forever to roll. I think I would rather a random number generator that then displays the result on the die. It gets into weird states occasionally, where the die ends up on a side. And it is so slow to roll. But, it is beautiful, and so intuitive to use.

A long time ago (in this galaxy) before computers were smartphones, they were calculators. The best of the best were created by Hewlett-Packard and the best HP calculator was the HP41C. In my spare time I wrote a program called "Wardice" which performed the same function as this App. Of course, the program was much simpler - no graphics , no color, no animation, it just did the job. I was delighted to find D&D Dice as I had just gotten back into role playing. How far we've come, i.e. Color, Animation, Graphics - Wow! I just love it. The reason for four stars rather than five, is that there is room for improvement, as I discovered after Wardice was released on an unsuspecting world. I am currently playing a game that requires polyhedral dice beyond the current Gang of Seven. The game calls for: D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, Percentile Dice, D12, D14, D16, D18, D20, D20, D24 and D30. It would be nice if the constellation of dice choices could be controlled at runtime rather than at compile time. Still this is a great app for its purpose and I think Hibercon did a smashing job of work.
Beautiful, but not as functional as some...

By far the cleanest and most attractive RPG dice app in the store, the experience is marred by lack of the functionality common to other dice apps - shake-to-roll, saving configurations, customization of dice & environment, and especially, better physics. I get that to keep it clean you don't want to give the user too many choices, but a few options done as nicely as the default skin would be very welcome. My biggest qualm, though, is with the physics, which are oddly slow, as if in half-gravity...
