There is a multi level chess program available on and offline that plays Chess, Chess960 and a few variants such as Crazyhouse, Loser's and Atomic Chess.
As a guest by moving between ICC and FICS users can experience two different playing pools. Guests can only watch games on FICS.
The Diamond Chess board features engine analysis with one click when observing a chess game or examining one. Diamond also has a Load PGN option which includes some free grandmaster game collections and Diamond Chess saves all played games. Multiple games can be up at once and users click the next or previous buttons to move between them.
Diamond supports both chess and the server's variants such as Crazyhouse, Losers, Atomic Chess, Giveaway or Suicide Chess. Chess960 is on ICC for guests and members. When connected to ICC as a member, tab three becomes Videos.
Diamond Chess has an accessible board to use with Voice Over for the visually impaired. With voice over on, if a user taps a square it will speak its contents such as "e4 empty" or "e4 white pawn" and there is a speak move with Voice Over on.
Members on both FICS and ICC can join channels and chat in the Diamond Chess's Main View by tapping the Channels button. On ICC there is tournament support for members.
ICC has free levels and free guest access. FICS is entirely free.
