Retro fun with some flaws

This game was entertaining overall. The graphics and metroidvania style layout and gameplay immediately caught my attention but there are a variety of things that I need to touch upon. The game gets repetitive after a while. Killing doesn't take much skill. New enemies and their different attack patterns are welcome but I can usually kill them quick enough before they attack or I can withstand their first couple attacks because my health barely goes down. Maybe some different attacks, weapons, or magic would be nice. Upgrading is very lackluster. I wish there were items I could find instead of just coins/treasure. Music fits the theme of the game as well as the graphics. The changes in music and stage sprites is very welcome. Sound design works well but footsteps need to be added.

I want to applaud these guys for keeping the grind at a somewhat respectable difficulty without forcing the player into a situation where they have to buy in app purchases to keep the game flow entertaining. I absolutely despise companies that don't give the buyer an accurate $ investment and drag them into paying ridiculous amounts of $ for a freaking mobile game it's disgusting and shady. Overall the play value that you get out of this game for it's price is well worth it.

I think it should have more bosses,maybe a dark, fire,or ice world. There needs to be multiplayer,PVP and co-op would be nice There need to be a variety of weapons and armor, like mage and archer stuff Weapons and armor need abilities like taking less damage from energy balls or doing more damage when attacking an enemies back

Really fun app I beat the game and I got to say I think it's one of the best side scollers I've played for a while really solid controls easy to pick up and play and just a awesome hack and slashing side scolling plat former

Crazy addicting but it is almost like a game u would play on a wii or DS or one of those video games but cooler I love to kill the beholders and the arch mages it's cool
Addicting, But Repetitive

I fairly enjoyed this game, but it's quite repetitive and lacks more to do other than killing and collecting, but overall it is fun and time consuming to take up that spare time.

This game has all the elements of another rouge game that is also leaving a legacy ;). The game has excellent replay value. The dungeons are the perfect size and the art is on Point. I would like other classes like an archer or Mage. Regardless the game right now is Excellent. This is one game that you will have on your device for a long time if you like platformers.
