Well, I wouldn't say "it works" but it does look like the real thing so it's realistic.

This app looks great on my iPad and the Planchette is nice and responsive to the touch. The theory is that a spirit uses your energies to communicate through the board. I see no reason why this wouldn't work any differently to an actual physical board, costing many times more than this. It's a great deal for a dollar. Get a few friends together and try it out for real. Be careful though.... ;)
