Until you learn to ignore the numbers you can’t truly enjoy this game.

I love this game and I’ve played more than 3000 holes. I would love it if a running average of shots per hole or other stats could be displayed up top along with the total. How about a total for the last 18 holes? Thank you!

The developers did not focus on a huge graphics pipeline, tons of incredible multimedia assets, sparkles, buzzes, or general circus entertainment. They focused on making a game; there is detail in the interaction, the flow, and cadence. When, after hundreds of endless desert landscapes, I see a lone saguaro or a tiny water trap, I am amazed at the touch. It truly feels rare and appreciated. The physics is perfect. Such an existential delight.

Either you love it, or you don't. I'm on lvl 3400 or so. At this point I with more would happen. I remember back when I saw a cactus, that was fun. Or when I pushed a rock along for a few lvls. Every thing turned green then pink. I got to a lvl I thought was impossible until I got it on my 98th try. I hope I see another cactus.

Two bucks for a game with no home screen, no level select, no rules, no other modes, and no customization? It's a pretty fun game and I love how it's endless but I wish there was at least some customization and I would really like a small celebration for a hole in one

This game is exactly what it is, executed as well as it could possibly be. You can play a few minutes or a few hours just as easily

Great relaxing "zen mode" style game. Addictive, easy to play while talking or listening to TV. I like the simplicity of a game with no pointless cruft between levels, no over-the-top reward system, no distractions, just the play itself, with minimal graphics. I'd make two suggestions. First it would be nice to have the option to flip the direction. Left-to-right action (as in Angry Birds) has become an unwritten standard, but right-to-left would be easier for a right handed player. Second, would be nice to allow skipping a level. I hesitate to suggest it because people need to be pushed into finding the solution, and many that seemed impossible weren't, though a few took 100 strokes to get right. But I finally gave up on hole 9249 after 850 strokes. Maybe allow skipping if reporting a bug.

Simplicity at its finest. Easy to play. No annoying in game BS. Those that don't like it, don't get it. Not addicting, just fun to play. Seems like it goes on forever.

Hundreds of years from now people will still be playing this game, long after the sport of "golf" has been whipped from the collective consciousness this game will endure. You start the game slow, a weary golfer trapped in a dessert wonderland, the only way out? Golfing. Around hole 3210 the game starts to really pick of speed, you're given a quest by the white dragon Vàenor, though the real fun begins at hole 5000. Will you trust Vàenor? Or betray the princess and take the gold for yourself? The choice is yours and yours alone. I'm at hole 7600 and I'm still in awe of the breathtaking graphics, it really feels like I'm in a dessert and I'm golfing. I can't wait to see what adventures lay ahead of me. Dis game is da titz
