Really cool game

Allie2183

I love the dark theme, and graphics, and the puzzles are great. I would even buy it if i could somehow figure out how much it is but it doesn't seem to tell you. It's not listed anywhere unless i simply missed it. I'm not just going to buy it without knowing how much it costs. Thats why I had to subtract a star- for pure annoyance at not listing the price. If that changes i might even purchase it.

Thank you, KimTwilight, for letting us know about this terrific game from Artifex Mundi, especially for the price! For $2.99, you receive plenty of bells and whistles! Firstly, you can customize your settings and there is a left-handed mode included. The game was a decent length and included a short bonus adventure. The graphics are crisp and sharp, albeit gloomy but the general ambience is one of horror. The storyline is one of which we are all familiar: demons killing and kidnapping people and you are a paranormal investigator. Loading is instantaneous between locations and you have a marked ( if so customized) teleport map to transport you. Collectibles included dolls, portraits and coins. Inventory is labeled and there are complex items to assemble. There was no cohesive journal but objectives were regularly updated. There were a lot of HO scenes, with some variation, and you also have the option of playing a pairing game as well. There was a variety of puzzles and games, many of them unoriginal and of the boring rotational genre. However this game was fun to play anyway. There were some touch sensitivity issues, but no fatal flaws. I don't know if the hint system was of the spoiler alert sort because I didn't use it. I am deducting a star for no actual journal and slight glitches. However, for the price this game was fantastic! And I only had to deal with one RAT, albeit briefly! Lynxie sends love and holiday cheer to the Dream Team Elite, and fondest regards to the fabulous Snooper! I was so happy to hear from you! We go way back!

Great Game

I am having great fun playing this game. Lots of things to do, puzzles, etc. I like that we are shown when we find all the collectibles in a scene. Nice feature. Thanks Kim for all your game referrals.

The graphics are great and so are the hidden object games. I wish that you could zoom into the pictures though.

The app is $2.99 on main page of app where u install game, (Details) scroll down and it says In app purchases, click that and it'll tell u the price of the item..Also when you hit buy full version, there will be a window that pops up from Apple that will say Do you want to pay so and so and it'll have the price there as well IF you have a password blocking purchases. Now please read below: Not my review but HAD to address people (Silver Dragoner) and others that CANT read! I am so sick of people giving apps bad reviews because THEY CANT READ! If you look at the main picture of the app your about to download, and look under the name of the game/app, you will see it may say IN APP PURCHASE!!! This means that, after your "free" PREVIEW of the game, you will have to pay their REALLY small fee to continue OR guess what, you can delete it. You have no right to give developers a single star because YOU can't read! There are very few things in this world that are free, and if they are free there's always a catch or tons of Ads! Stop giving bad reviews for something YOU did,or didn't do which is read the description or read what it says under the name of the app! Most games that aren't BIG FISH games are a very reasonable price. $3.99 to $4.99 so please stop writing bad reviews. Read the full description first, then decide if you want to download and buy. Now about my review: To be continued. Just downloaded the game. Going to play the Free version, BUY the game, then give my review! IZZY: Can you let me know about the upcoming games. Can't find some of the ones you've just mentioned a few weeks ago?? Thanks so much DTE and ALL that give great reviews, welcome back Snooper... where have you been?❣️❣️Merry Christmas to all and a safe and happy New Year.?

Wonderful Adventure!

Very eerie & intense game play. Loved all of the special touches that are incorporated into this game. Hidden object scenes are interactive for the most part and the puzzles are fun and will clear any cobwebs that might be brewing. Great price & a bonus game included on this one - Nice surprise! Love this company and always look forward to their releases. Good job Artifex Mundi - keep these great adventures coming! KdBoots ?

I've Been "Hunting" For a "Demonic" Game And I've Found One!

This game illustrates the typical recycled horror-themed genre that we are very familiar with. You are investigating a murder and a disappearance while exploring a grim and foreboding environment, with the constant perception of uncertainty and fear ravaging through your mind. You will pass through a desolate, decrepit village, which is marred by the unsightly images of old paint-peeled, crumbling houses and buildings; gruesome gargoyle statues staring at you with their piercing red eyes; and sinister apparitions that are terrorizing the townspeople. You can customize your settings; some options will eliminate unwanted sparkles and mistap penalties. The graphics are fairly crisp and clear; the details are vivid enough to pass them off as a satisfactory representation of the surroundings. Since most of the activity occurs during the nighttime, the dominant darker colors strongly contrast against the sparser, more lighter ones. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map briskly transports you to labeled locations and indicates available objectives. The HOS has some variation, although they are mostly word lists with slight interactivity. The puzzles are simple but fun; one of my favorites is included: the one where you turn all of the wheel lights green via turning the dials a certain number of times either clockwise or counterclockwise. The diary is restricted to the sole purpose of listing your objectives; you acquire reading materials to learn the backstory as you advance. Transition between scenes is fluid; locations are labeled as you travel. The collectibles can be well hidden, so tap everywhere; you are given several sets to discover. Overall, this is a decent game that is decorated with most of the features we crave; it is worth the economical price tag of $2.99.

Meh 〰

Casual mode

Same old boring theme..all of these HOPA devs...Artifex, BF, etc...need to pump up the creativity, maybe hire some new talent. This one played well, although the game set me back a few scenes after a pause/continue. All in all, nothing new, this third installment was just not as good as the first two, glad it was on $2.99 sale.
