Deleter enables you to bulk delete everything in your camera roll that was not favourited.

- Favourite any of your photos or videos you want to keep. Do you take multiple photos of the same view and then look them through to choose the best ones? Go ahead and just favourite them (if you don’t already have this as a habit).

- Or access all your camera roll from the Deleter app to select/unselect favourites.

- Delete all the photos or videos that were not favourited with just one tap.

By pressing the Delete icon the app will prompt you for confirmation of deletion.
You can undo the deletion in the Recently Deleted folder of your default Photos app.

The system puts all your deleted photos in the Recently Deleted folder of your default Photos app.
To remove them finally and free our disk space:
- Open default Photos app.
- Go to Albums/Recently Deleted.
- Press Select and Delete All.
- Confirm the deletion (this cannot be undone).

Exactly what I was looking for!

This app does one basic task that Apple doesn't let you do in Photos... bulk delete images that have not been marked as favorites. I already use PhotoSync to easily copy pics from my phone to my PC (great app!), but I hadn't deleted any of my old photos yet. Now I wanted to clean up the 10gb of photos that were taking up space on my phone. I had marked 600 of the >3000 pics as favorites, but iOS has no useful mass-selection tools so I was going to have to select every photo I wanted to delete manually. I have no idea why there's no "select all favorites" and "select all non-favorites", but this app took care of it instantly. I loaded the app, launched it and it immediately selected all 2,400 photos that I hadn't marked as favorites. I pressed delete (not nervously as I had backups on my PC thanks to PhotoSync), and a few seconds later the Deleter app had deleted 2,600 photos but left everything I had marked as a favorite untouched. Exactly what I was looking for. Even better was that when it deletes the photos, it actually moves them into the "Recently Deleted" folder in the Photos app, so you still have 30 days to move them back if you need to. Great app!!!!!!

Does what it says

Good app! Worth a dollar spent) Does not delete photos which were placed into hidden folder - but I guess it makes sense

Larger amount of photos would be nice

In theory, a great app. But I can't delete 8,000 photos at once from camera roll.

Thank you!!!!!!!

I did so much research trying to clear up space on my iPhone. My photos were backed up in Photos on my iMac, but I couldn't limit the photos on my iPhone no matter what settings I tried! This app cleared out Camera Roll and various other albums that iTunes and iPhone would not let me clear! This app gave my phone back over 13 GB of space!!! Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Great! Please add album exception!

This app does exactly what it promises. Thank you! Feature request: would love to be able to exclude selected albums from deletion.

Much-needed Functionality

App works perfectly. Developer is filling a gaping hole in iOS photos functionality. $0.99 saved me a ton of time trying to selectively delete 860+ photos one at a time.

Worked perfect for deleting all but my favorite photos

Not sure what I would do without this app, or what others are doing, but I can’t live without it! I’ve been using it for a while now and, while it’s not perfect, love it. I mark photos I want to keep as favorites, I make sure to sync ALL photos and videos with Dropbox and Google Photos (or Google Drive, iCloud, etc) and then open up Deleter to remove all the non-favorites. I instantly free up several gigs of data on my cell phone. I love that before you delete all photos you can still see which are going to be deleted and select from that same screen which you actually want to keep. I also love that it doesn’t permanently delete them immediately, provided you are human and made a mistake (it’s not a bug, it’s a feature guys lol). It moves them all to the Recently Deleted directory, where you confirm that you want to delete them all. I can’t imagine deleting all photos and then cherry picking the ones I want to keep, or vice versa. Hidden photos are not deleted, but again this is a convenience feature, not a bug. It’s also fairly quick and handles deleting over a thousand photos and videos with ease, and has never frozen on me, surprisingly. Highly recommend this app! Also the developer seems to be relatively responsive, which is always appreciated as a fellow developer. Feedback: Would love to be able to exclude certain albums, but I know that might be quite difficult considering that it seems to really be based on the Favorites feature. That would make it perfect though!

Great!

This is one of my favorite apps. For someone who snaps a ton of photos, it’s SO helpful. After selecting my favorites, all I have to do it open this app, and with a couple of clicks, everything else (everything not marked as a favorite) goes away. It’s genius and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the creators!!!
