This is WAS a great game. As usual, the game developers get high on their bull crap and get greedy. Instead of paying once, or, buying the game and even watching videos to get cash, this bastard wants to stay in your pocket! Not nearly enough start up cash as compared to DZ 2. If it were possible to rate with Negative stars I'd do it!! Defense zone 2 was awesome!! This DZ 3 is designed as an arcade style: TO KEEP RIPPING YOU OFF!!

REALLY FUN! Gotta use tactical moves with this one to win levels. Takes some thinking and almost plays like a chess game arcade style.

Can't do anything but watch the enemy walk by. And this is the third generation of the game? Too bad, it looked good.

I can’t go past 8 level, I tried like 20 times - still can’t pass 31 wave; I’ve tried to watch ads and buy health - I did it so many times that I got it locked for 15 minutes

I loved 1 & 2, but 3 introduces a pay wall structure where you very rapidly you need to play the same level repeatedly until you get you strategy just right or pay the jerk just to progress in the game. Sorely disappointed in this version of the game.

Still no endless mode for some reason? I’ve always enjoyed the challenge of the Defense Zone series. I even found that with practice I could eventually pass nearly all maps on hard. That was until DZ3s latest maps (16 and up) came out. Mission 16 is impossible even on easy mode. This maps version of “easy” is what most others would call nightmare or super hard mode. Unless passing map 16 requires IAPs, it cannot be completed on even easy mode. The balance is so out of whack you’d have to be able to use the special weapons several times each and not have any cool downs. Anybody tells you different is lying and could only pass 16 if they sunk many more dollars into the app for special weapons stock. Not cool. This long time fan and DZ vet (Play nearly all paid TD games on mobile and computers for a decade+) knows a broken economics & difficulty balance when he sees one. No longer recommended. Too bad....was almost great.

The game is good! No question. The only down side of this one vs the previous version is the "speed up" option. In DF2, you could speed up gameplay by x2 and x4. This version only has x2. Sometimes, you just don't want to wait around...
