I’ve played several similar music/rhythm games before (on mobile, console and PC and I also play piano irl) and this is the only one I’ve ever encountered has a medium mode that is so difficult most songs are unplayable. So I haven’t even attempted the more difficult modes. And the easy mode is way too easy. So no mode is satisfying for me. And even though I’ve calibrated it multiple times, the notes still don’t seem to sync properly. Furthermore, even though I haven’t gotten too far into the game (due to finding the gameplay so unsatisfying) there seems to be little to no story, and there doesn’t seem to be that much content in the base game either. But it gets two stars instead of one due to me not being able to get that far into it. Maybe the story materializes at some point, but the easy gameplay is so mind-numbing and the medium gameplay so ridiculously hard that I’m not willing to continue unless this game is rebalanced and syncing issues are fixed. I kind of regret spending money on it, but I’m at least glad I didn’t pay for any of the add on packs.

Deemo is a game that’s well worth the amount you pay. Sure, there are plenty of bonus songs that you do have to buy, but it gives you a frankly staggering amount of content with your initial purpose, and the replay value is through the roof. I find myself constantly coming back to Deemo, though the tree is long since fully grown. Trying to improve your scores on your favorite songs is addicting. I don’t know what else to say, but if you like rhythm games, or think you might, I strongly recommend Deemo. The piano is charming, the art style is adorable, and the story is simple and sweet. Plus, it’s not much money- and the soundtrack is to die for.

Been playing for well over 2 years and everytime i always come back to beat the game again. Truly a masterpiece of a rhythm game and recommend everybody at least tries once.

The art and story for this game is phenomenal, outmatches as far as I’m concerned. But the music, each piece is absolute magic. I love games like this but due to hand issues, I’m not very good at them. So what makes this one stand out for me is the fact that they don’t penalize you for missing a note! Not noises that scream at you when you mess up! They make sure that you can enjoy and love every single piece of music they offer! I definitely recommend this game to any music lovers!

This game is so much better than piano tiles 2 or any piano tiles in my opinion. I but it for 2$ but than your pulled into the story behind the two characters. It’s really a great game
