This is by far the best decibel meter I have ever seen. The amazing graphic design, the precise visual indicators, the accurate audio measurements have blown me away. Little descriptions of decibel ranges, average and max statistics, beautiful fluctuating graphs, and the ability to analyze the data you've been collecting only further confirms the fact that this visually appealing, sensitive but exact app would be perfect from academic purposes to industrial environments.

I cannot attest to the accuracy but I give this app high points for its clean user interface and for not looking like the Vegas strip. A few suggestions: (1) Would be very useful if it adjusted to a landscape view when the phone is tilted. In my office I would like to set my phone on its side. This seems like a no brainer. (2) The Reset High dialog box is jarring because it clashes so much with the UI. I suggest that a press and hold be an option to perform a reset OR just add another button... though a double tap on the Stop/Play button does the trick. Nice work.

Disappointed, Upgraded to Premium but got no added functionality, Doesn't having damping or highest peak lock and only goes to 120, useless for industrial purposes.
