Used to love this app, new update ruined it

I hate to admit this.. I spent every night looking at this app for about 10-15 minutes before I went to sleep. The new update looks so horrible, I just deleted it off my phone. Thanks for ruining a good thing DealNews. I’m sure you won’t miss me as much as I missed the old lay out.
Update Making app unusable

I’ve been using this app for what seems like over 10 years now every day, at several points in the day to see what new deals are out there. In a sea of similar apps, this was the one that stood out enough for me to stick with it and delete the rest. That is, until now. I cannot imagine consumers demanding that a key feature of displaying when the deal was posted to be removed. Why would anyone ask for that? It’s important to know if something was posted an hour ago versus a week ago. Why would you take this out? Also, it doesn’t even look like all the categories are even there anymore. Toys and games looks like it’s gone (unless the interface has been made so difficult it’s buried somewhere else). I can see some of those things show up under “new” but there’s no longer a separate category for that. I’m not scrolling through every single new posting in the hopes of finding those things. I’m sad to say that I just can’t use this app anymore unless some of these features are reimplemented. I understand the needs of a business to move forward but these are major steps back just in the effort to put out something “new”. Whatever happened to “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it?” In the meantime, I’ll take a swim in the sea of other apps which will likely have these features.

I was on the fence about deleting this app but the developers made the decision easy for me by removing the time stamp from each post! Adios mofos!

UPDATE: all is finally fixed!! Don’t break it please!!! LOVE DealNews, but latest update made it stop working on my phone! All categories are blank! Please fix and I’ll update rating. Update:: latest update fixed. But what happened to the gaming and toys category??

I can no longer open this app on my iPhone SE. I guess people without the latest technology don’t deserve deals.
App won’t open

Updated this app and now it won’t open. Still get notices and emails but can’t use the app. Is there a fix planned?

Please bring back the old version where we could easily look up time of the deals and many more.... you said that you updated the up based on user research, but all the reviews are negative because of this update...!!!!

Used this app multiple times a day. Now, pictures are gone, descriptions and it’s basically useless. Garbage; bring the old one back Update: it’s better now. Not as good as before still

Reading other reviewers, yeah i kinda share same thoughts, but mostly, Dealnews needs Dark mode! Gonna shift to SD if this doesn’t happen soon...
Missing few things in new design

I felt like with new design you guys ended up with loosing the old charm of your app. Lots of differences. But the one which I miss mostly is the date/time info since it posted.
