Good, But Eh?

It's an ok game33

Addictive and fun overall! There ARE strategies to playing the game, although you might not think so starting out. The game is super simple. The ship you send out to find supplies is 100% useless, however. I find double the supplies that thing finds in one level. Especially because my axe, which has unlimited ammo/use does more damage than any weapon I have, making there no need for ammo. It would be cool to see a partner system where you could bring up to 2 squad members into a dungeon. You could switch them out during battle and such. It would be OP, though.

Really fun

Cerulean Sun

Great game to pick up and play throughout the day in short sessions

Nothing is clear, everything is random

Sarcastaball

So you start this game with nothing explained, it doesn't get clearer, and I still have very little idea how anything works. The dungeons and rewards are completely random, so sometimes a breeze and sometimes impossible. There's one guy with an axe that hits all monsters and doesn't need amo. Never saw a reason to bring anyone else. Feels like something thrown together in a couple days. Whatever.

Boring, sludge-paced grind

avatar_ignis

No strategy involved. Tap to use weapon, switch weapon when ammo is low. After 20 stages of just playing mindlessly and winning, i had to put this down and walk away.

Gets boring after 70 levels

thespaciousmind

The cost to upgrade gets to a point where getting thru levels WILL get harder because... you cant afford to upgrade! So it feels even more grindy, and it just gets boring because you can't upgrade and its the same thing over and over and over again.

Dull and repetitive

MartialDoc

Couldn't really get much into this. Every level, that I played, was similar and the gameplay is too simplistic. I could tell the levels would start changing later but it's not progressive as it should be.

No substance

Strangelander

There's just nothing to this game. Nice graphics, the appearance of a game, but there's no core mechanic, no challenge, nothing interesting here. Just click click click till enemies die, change weapons with slightly higher numbers, etc. Glad I got it on sale, waste of a buck anyway.

Broken for the iPad Air 2

apple$auce

When first loading the game, it asks you to drag a crate to a box to open it. On my device, I'm unable to drag the crate to the box. Seems like half of the crate is cutoff graphics-wise like the window displaying it isn't big enough. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem anyway to bypass this step and resume with the game. As it stands, I've wasted $3 on this game the way it is currently. I recommend avoiding this game, if you have the same device, until there's a fix. I'll adjust my rating of this game should I actually get to play it in the future.

Monotonous and Pointless

David+A.

This game has the player grinding through completely random levels for no obvious reason. If you lose, just try again. If you win, you get almost nothing. The team/squad members are generic. They have nothing truly unique or interesting, and you only get one per level. Instead of a growing squad to meet escalating challenges, you take a single character with crappy weapons into a stage that will either be impossible to clear or will essentially clear itself. There are no real stakes to this game. The weapons are boring. The characters have no truly unique traits. The upgrades do not scale. Skip this one. Save your money for a better, more enjoyable game.

Addictive perfectly balanced rpg

Sarlaccpit79

Finally a simple rpg that doesn't overwhelm you with overly done crafting mechanics and just focuses on easy to pick up hard to master strategy/inventory managing fun combat. Art and sound is fun and perfect for this game.
