Ads block bike/dock count in map view

Keith_ElectronicsGuru

I can't turn off the ads, every time I try it does not save. The ads show up on top of the bike and sock count- makes it impossible to plan when on metro

Awesome!

The app I've been waiting for. I usually need a bike or an empty dock in a hurry. I guess fiddling with maps is fine for casual users, but I use Capital Bike Share all the time! Which is why I am also fine with Location Services being set to Always. It is worth it to not have to wait for the app to figure out where I am before telling me the location of the closest bike or empty dock. Thanks!

DC Bike Share App

Jury is still out....my first huddle is trying to find the search option. ..which after ten minutes still don't see one. This app used to be easy to use so looking at other reviews this app may need a lot of work to keep peeps onboard

Very disappointed

This app REQUIRES you to allow them to access your location WHEN THE APP IS TURNED OFF or else they won't let you use the app at all. There is NO reason they need my location, especially when I am not even using the app. For that matter, I shouldn't have to authorize location services at all; I am perfectly capable of manually looking at the map and figuring out where I am. Big brother is watching.

Fantastic.!

Clean interface, easy to use, everything you need in one place while biking around DC.

Excellent

Very easy to find a station based on current location

Functional, but corners were cut to make it work

Heartsblood

It does what it advertises. It will get you to the closest bike share rack. That being said there are a few problems. 1. "Use current location". The application only allows you to set "use current location" to 'always' and 'never'. If you do not go into your settings when not using the app it will drain your battery unnecessarily. The app should be updated to allow 'only when using the application'. If battery life is a concern for you I would avoid this app until this bug has been fixed. 2. I am always prompted to "install google apps" although I have it installed and integrated with other apps. From what I can tell this bug is more of a cosmetic annoyance than a functional impedance.

Functionality issues

Retributia

Works ok at best, often takes an exceedingly long time (1-2 mins or more) to load in info after enabling location services. Also usually has major issues when trying to swipe for other nearby stations- sometimes works, usually doesn't. Overall poor.

Suggestion

Play On 04

There should be a way to report if a station had no bikes and you went there looking for a bike, or if I go to a station and its full. That way you can collect data on when people wanted to use full/empty stations.
