I've tried other countdown apps and they just get bogged down with clutter & unnecessary features. This works well without being complicated.

I used this app to remember my birthday and looking at the big and bold numbers until my birthday kept me happy!

Days Until is really useful and handy. It's helped me keep up with lots of events and tasks that calendar reminders aren't appropriate for. The only down side for me is that the icon's countdown number doesn't update unless you open the app. For me it would be a five-star app if it updated the icon automatically. >>Upsate for the current version: now the icon updates automatically, so it's pretty much perfect to me!

I have a random "Days Until" label overlapping the third or fourth row and a color picker covering most of my first row that doesn't go away unless I force quit haha

The app is not very sophisticated, doesn't update without actually opening the app, and the worst part is it steals your money. If you choose to upgrade, nowhere in the notification box does it tell you that you are agreeing to 99-cent RECURRING charges instead of just a one-time upgrade fee. So you get a nice little surprise on your credit card bill the next month. Frankly, the app just isn't worth it.

I started using this app to help remind a recovering alcoholic how far he has come... when he's down... he is always grateful to have the physical number of days his own, will, sweat, tears and courage got him to another day. They add up ... and he loves when I recognize big #'s totally off his radar. Love the support.

I just wanted to thank the creator for this awesome app. You can use it as a countdown for anything. I am a huge Disney fanatic and have used this app for my countdown for over 5 disney trips. I love that I can set a picture to something Disney related or to anything I want. When I book my trip I can't wait to download this app to see the countdown on my phone. Thank you! P.S I just booked a Disney trip!?
