I’ve never understood why iOS never had a way to tell what the date was, easily. Having been a Galaxy user, it’s standard at top of screen and incredibly helpful for someone like me. I’ve truly missed not having a similar function with the iPhone. While hunting the App Store today, frustrating and cursing Apple under my breath, I found this widget. The clouds parted; the heavens opened and I swear I heard the distinct sound of angels’ voices singing! Download; swipe right to widgets; scroll down to edit and add this fantastic app; reposition to top of widget list and VOILA! Now you have date and time anytime you swipe right on your iPhone! Thank you so much for making this! I’m tipping when I get paid!
The Date & Time Widgit is just what I wanted

I was looking for a way to quickly get the current date. Like when writting a check, or filling out a form, or someone says what date is it. Lawrence O'Connor's Date & Time iPhone Widgit did everything I wanted, and more, as I find it useful to bring up the Date & Time Widgit when I have to set digital clocks after a power failure, or when performing the Daylight Savings Time Dance. Thank you.

Every time I got to my widget panel and swipe to my clock it says error occurred and I have to touch the widget each time to refresh it. Would be nice if this issue was dealt with. Thanks for the option however it's is very much like stock UI and fits appropriately in my widget panel.

There are many good clock or time apps, but this is the one with a good widget. It shows time to seconds, which Apple clock app does not. It shows date and time together in large fonts.

The description is misleading. You have to swipe to get the time. It doesn't show on lock screen. Also pic of of the full-screen white clockface only comes up if you touch the widget, which opens the app, and then touch the digital time and so that finally opens the large white analog clock. I expected that clock to always show on lock screen without my having to do anything, and certainly not to have to make three moves to finally get there.

This app solves the problem of when I need to know the date. iOS doesn’t show me that on the widget page when my phone is unlocked. One thing I wish the app would do is display faster- it takes a second or so to show the date & time.

Tried multiple time/date apps looking for the best Spotlight and swipe-right Lock Screen widgets. This wins. Long press on icon is great too. If you're looking for a time/date app that you can access without having to open the app, this is it. Edit your Spotlight screen to add the widget and the date/time will show 24/7. Next, swipe right on your lock screen to view date/time 24/7. Reading other reviews, seems like some people don't know how to use widgets on ios 10/11.
No option for 24 hour clock

There’s no option to display 24 hour time in the widget, which makes this app a non starter for my purposes.
