Dartfish Express is a great app!! Being able to have it on my phone and iPad have been a huge help when working with clients! Now that the circle is complete, this app is the perfect way to film clients during exercise or athletes in their respective sport! Being able to download videos back to the device is a huge help to someone trying to communicate with coaches or trainers! Great addition!
Nice app but upload will not work

I like the review and editing features. I was able to go through a whole set of game film and mark various plays and hi-lights. Unfortunately I can not get it to upload and let me share this so it is a bit limiting. This looks like a bug but I can not find a way to fix it, so reducing one star. Other features to get to five stars would be the ability to trim a video, so I can pull out one okay and work with it. Also, you can not clear lines during a review, so this really only works to highlight things in one okay, not a whole game. Without a trim tool or the ability to wipe markup at a certain point, there is really no good way to review a full game film.

The new additions are incredible. We use this app every day to instantly provide analyzed feedback to our athletes for either therapeutic progression or sports performance. The split screen addition has been incredible advantage to relay the amount of ROM progress a post-op patient makes weekly. Thank you again for your continued drive to be the best in your field.

New way to process
The best app out there for coaching AND for athletes. I've used them all and this is my clear favorite. Love that it has never crashed on me and is always reliable. Please keep the updates coming! Side by side is sweet and every update keeps you ahead of the others!!
WAY BETTER than Ubersense

I used to prefer Ubersense over this Dartfish app but now there is no contest. I'm a high school strength and conditioning coach. I use this everyday. I can get quick, accurate analysis of movement, get a still shot of the main teaching point and then send it to my Athlete's quickly. Or I can send the whole video. Either way, these simple steps took forever on Ubersense and it seemed liked the app changed month to month. Coolest of all, I can quickly AirPlay my analysis on the flatscreen we have for all to see. The kids love and so do I. Well worth the few dollars.
Great App for Patients & Athletes

I use Dartfish software for detailed analyses of patients & athletes. Express is perfect for grabbing a quick video to show someone how they're moving. It settles movement arguments on the spot. The drawing tools are fine for a quick analysis and the thumb wheel video scrubber makes it easy to play video frame by frame. Doing a side-by-side comparison on the fly is easy, which is nice to prove to a person they're improving. When I need to do a larger volme of detailed analyses, it's easy for me to transfer the videos into my software,

I love this app....BUT, it is inexcusably frustrating on one particular point. Say you have taken 50 videos. You scroll down and select one. When click back to the scroll down the list, you get put anywhere, from the beginning of the list or the very bottom. Now imagine you are looking for a particular video from several months ago, and are scrolling through a couple hundred videos.to find it (assuming it is not labeled). Every time you select a video and click back, you lose your place. This is so frustrating!! I thought it was just me, but I heard another coach yelling about it yesterday. Seems like such a small problem to fix! I am waiting. And I am starting to check out the other apps now too.
