The game is very glitchy. Trying to match things up in the hidden object games does not work well. You have to do it over and over and over again until you finally get it in just the right spot. What a pain. It makes you do things repetitively if you have to tap in eight nails then you have to pull the hammer from your inventory eight times. It's like the game is 10 years old.

I agree with a lot of the other people about the mazes they are horrible. And some of the games are perfect and easy to understand and then other mini games are so complicated with tiny little instructions that don’t make any sense. The font is so tiny you can’t even read it. The developers really need to see things from the players point of view. I will say that the storyline is very good.

I’ve loved all the Ers EAP games until the last two. This one is very glitchy. Currently, I’m stuck on the last HOP, where you have to collect notes for a scroll. The notes stay put, and the scroll disappears at a touch. The hint button directs me back, where there’s nothing to do, and then it directs me back to the HOP. It’s dark, both in hue and subject. I hate the maze puzzles. Dupin’s voice has changed, too, but that’s a different issue. I used to buy Ers games sight unseen, but that won’t happen again.

Same gripes as everyone.... no clear instructions, mazes too ridiculous etc.. I don't mind the gore -I LOVE mystery & horror themes A LOT MORE THAN FARIES, OGRES, & fantasy but thats just me. I adore Poe, so it just stinks these games are sub par! Why was that MCF's game put up -but you can't get it? Annoying! Even tho MCF's last great game was Shadow Lake ☹️

Perhaps the ending could’ve been more climactic, but still great graphics, lots of mini games and collectibles. Add more to your Creep factor, but Good job.

BigFish is barely giving us games and then the one game we get for the entire week is this glitchy horrible mess! Not okay! I am so annoyed that I won’t even write a full review or discuss the features. I don’t like this new interface that ERS is using because it only extends 75% of the way down the tablet screen, making it extremely easy to backtap to a prior location. The graphics were somber and hideous, the storyline was unoriginal, and due to touch screen sensitivity issues, I had to skip many of the mini-games, and there were several I actually wanted to play. I had the same issue that Kim mentioned in that HO scene, where I zoomed in and couldn’t zoom out again. I hit the hint button and that helped, in case it happens to you. The only enjoyment I got was from when Dupin was dead, Kim’s reaction, and me thinking she would happily have performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on him! Yes, please laugh at this because this game contained no enjoyment. My actual review is 1.5 stars! Lynxie urges everyone to keep complaining to BigFish, and is reaching out to see if anybody knows why they are only giving us one game per week. Also, we haven’t had anything new from Artifex Mundi for a while. Izzyoc, if anyone can get info it is you! Please can you help? All of the reviewers would appreciate it! UPDATE: Artifex Mundi has at least 3 or 4 new games out, but NONE of them are currently available in the United States! How can we get them to release them here? If anyone has any suggestions kindly let us know, because their games are a lot of fun to play. Thanx, everyone!

This is not my review - I wanted to address Lynx on one thing that I have found out regarding Artifex Mundi and why no new releases. I wrote them directly and heard back that it is a technical issue with Apple. They are working on it & appreciate our interest in their games. As for Big Fish have been unable to get a straight answer as to why we are only getting 1 game a week ☹️ . Unfortunately, all of us avid supporters & gamers voices have not been heard enough. I encourage everyone to e-mail them directly and express your feelings on a Huge downfall in the gaming industry. As far as my review - This game is boring and feels antiquated. There isn't any real adventure! Normally, I enjoy a game and want to continue playing, however this hasn't been the case. Probably, to disturbed over the lack of New Releases that we have been receiving. They are to few and far between. I want to make the 1 last, but find myself losing interest. I don't think Big Fish is reading our reviews and is listening at all. These sales of older games don't cut it - As majority of us already have purchased them. I will update this review if I can get motivated enough to get through it. Feels like I am reading a ho hum book. KdBoots

The puzzles were terrible, the background and colors were dull and lifeless, and sometimes I wasn’t sure what just happened. It was almost agonizing to play. I just wanted it to end but it seemed to drag on and on. Not enjoyable at all. I love this type of game and play them all. I’ve never quit a game until now. Having to choose a response to characters was new and weird especially since it didn’t seem to make a difference.

I am so angry I bought this game. ERS studios, the developer for Big Fish on this one, is completely inept. It's 2017 and instead of smooth transitions from one scene to another you have to wait for buffering? Ridiculous. It is also simple minded, completely derivative with absolutely no thought put into the new ideas for puzzles. It isn't even a good time killer because it's so idiotic. IMO the ONLY Big Fish games worth playing now are done by Elephant Games and Eipix. I will ONLY buy those from now on. Dismiss ERS as one of your developers, Big Fish, you can do so much better. I know because I have been a loyal player of your HOPA games for 10 years. I've spent a lot of money with you. Drop ERS. And stop ripping people off with half-cocked, lame releases from undeserving companies.

Love the hidden games and the game with the insect. Don’t know if it had a name. You have to go from one area to another with out getting caught. Fun
