I like the concept, but I wish there were a story line and more of a reason to get out

I know my opinion doesn't really matter, but maybe it can save you from wasting a $1.99. The game is quite repetitive. But, it's incredibly fun for a while. If there were more mechanics and the price was .99 I would easily recommend this as one of the better horror games on the App Store. Well, if you can call it a horror game. This game was never scary, just creepy. I was never even close to being scared, even with headphones in the dark. The horror element was never really there for me. But, if your looking for an intuitive echolocation-based adventure game with sharp, responsive controls, stealth elements and a lot of suspense at times this is for you.

Well, I bought this game hoping that it's reviews were genuine. This game is not only as scary as the muppet babies, but the mechanics loose steam very quickly. I was hoping to have a game that would be stimulating and scary but to my disappointment this game is lacking in every department as soon as you understand the monotone mechanics. It's a walk around game where you walk away from red circles and when you get too close a scream happens and I guess it's supposed to be scary... Lame duck game... Where is my $$....

I love this game, it is super addictive, though the last level is super hard... TRY this game at least, it's really cool

I love this game so far(I'm bad at it). The game is awesome because you always have to be quiet or play it smart. By the way the death scream has dug itself in my brain.

Just wasted my money! Thanks a lot! I don't know why iTunes doesn't do a better job weeding out these crappy games!

It's fun and enjoyable. Not to mention that it's a great concept. However... I can't hear anything. Headphones plugged in and sound all the way up, no sound. No headphones and sound all the way up, no sound. Can anyone help me?

Tedious, repetitive, and never actually frightening. I scare easily at horror games but was utterly bored with Dark Echo. The core gameplay isn't enough to sustain the experience anyway.
