I have been looking for a zombie game and when this popped up, I fell in love with it instantly! This game is the best game ever.

Died at map edge due to iap spam message. Bought iap message to regain my loot. Map says 7 minutes left and yet I am in a new instance and my body is gone. Game is a complete scam forces app purchases and yet no backup sync which is funny as it remembers you dying when you restore a backup to mitigate the death. TLDR you can’t play if you disable iap it forces spam messages every second for overpriced low tier garbage. Buying iap doesn’t stop the spam in fact they spam you more than ever. I’m fine with iap but implement a data sync it’s 2020 bro not a single game that doesn’t have data sync

Super fun until it’s repetitive and boring

The game is great and has lots of potential. It makes me sad to give it just 3 stars. I found myself happily playing it for hours, collecting things to craft weapons and items. The behind the player FPS handling is easy and intuitive! However... The game starts off like it might have a fun storyline but then it just disappears and you’re left to collecting and crafting things with no real point. Also some of the essential items are insanely hard to find or craft like the crowbar (Don’t waste the crowbar on fighting!) sharpening stone or bricks for example. Items wear out so fast, it would be nice if you could combine items to “repair” them, rather than having to carry around two of them. Also upon raiding difficult areas where you nearly die and break into the final main treasure chest you find amazing things you’d love to use, but they are worn out to the point of just falling apart immediately. Super disappointing when you’ve spent all your food and water and nearly died many times for a bunch of junk. Add a storyline, repair feature and make raiding have an actual payoff then I would love to give this game 5 stars and a rave review. I can’t see myself playing again until an update.

The game is fun until you can’t get the require item for the all terrain vehicle and chopper. I have been running army base, silo, and abandoning mine for 3 days now and can’t get the drive shaft, all terrain shock, propeller blade or steering rotor to drop at all. Sad to say but i have giving up now :(.

I love survival games and this is rlly good. I do think they should fix the part when u open up the build mode for ur house or something and u were moving the character, it continues moving. They should make it to where he automatically stops.

Great game, needs several bugs fixed in order to be truly awesome. Gameplay is fun and fresh but the leveling up rewards aren’t paying out when they should. If you go to retrieve your body with less than a minute left the green arrows directing don’t work. When crafting sometimes you can continue clicking craft without the system alerting you there’s not enough materials. There are several environmental obstacles you can just walk through. And did I mention the rewards? It’s very disappointing expecting to get a reward for leveling up and getting nothing. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

I had to spend 400 gold to get wood and rocks so that i could make another stone axe because when i went to break a wall at an enemy’s base it made me break a wall inside the base instead, trapping me. Just totally clipped through the outside wall. My axe broke on the first hit since i didn't know it was that fragile. Luckily i haven’t put any money into a game that obviously isn’t ready for it. Most people would be like “why would you complain about an exploit?”. Well zombies would clip through without issue so they feasted on me while i was trying to figure out how to get out. And since 8 of them were keeping me from being able to hit the wall i died. So 400 gold wasted and i got nothing from the base.

Up until this point I enjoyed this game. Still new and there are some bugs, but that’s to be expected and does not bother me so much. The progression timeline, which is very important for this type of game, is excellent. Great graphics and the controls very good as well. When I find a game I like I believe in supporting the company that built it with some in app purchases. It’s how these games get better and evolve. The issue I have with Dark Days is when I would try to make a purchase the game would give me a “Server Maintenance Error” as the purchase was being processed. The game then shuts down and I would have to open the app back up again. None of the items I purchased would be in my inventory. It was as if the transaction never happened. So I would do the purchase over again. I never thought they would still charge me for the purchases that never went all the way through. I was wrong. They did! At first I thought it was no big deal and requested a refund. They refunded me for the first one but then denied all the rest! I now believe this error message is being done on purpose! I say this because it never happens at any other point in the game. Never! It also happened at all different days and times. With it Only occurring when making a purchase it’s obvious it can’t really a server maintenance issue. I also believe they know people will think like me and not expect to be billed. They know how once this happens you will most likely just end up making the purchase again. They then get to DOUBLE BILL YOU! This smells like a scam and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT BUYING ANYTHING! I seriously doubt I’m the only one this has happened to and their refusal to refund my money shows they do not care about the player. For the record I wasn’t looking for a refund for everything. I only made requests for the ones that failed to go through and where I received nothing for what I paid for. Take this as a warning before making any purchase. It’s too bad because it’s a well done game that had a lot of promise.
