About Daniel Mananta
Daniel Mananta is an indonesian entertainer; his name began to be known when he won the MTV VJ Hunt 2003 competition. The first child of two brothers increasingly established himself as an entertainer as well as a young entrepreneur with this clothing line "Damn! I love Indonesia".
Daniel grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. He was educated in Jakarta. After that Daniel moved to Perth, Australia and was educated at Aquinas College.
In 2003 Daniel decided to join the MTV VJ Hunt. From 6000 contestants, he was elected as one of the finalists and eventually came out as the winner. Starting from here, the figure of Daniel became known. In 2004, he became the host at the MTV Asia Awards Red Carpet. During his time as an MTV VJ, he was interviewed many world class singers and bands, such as Korn, Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, The Black Eyed Peas, Gareth Gates, Michelle Branch, Nicole Scherzinger, and many more. He also began to emerge as the ambassador of several products, such as Sony Ericsson, Adidas, HONDA Vario, Nokia, Indosat M3, Promuno, Advan TabletPC, Pond's Men Mentor, chosen as The Key Opinion Leader for Windows-8 Social Media Sphere Promo, MTV EXIT, Smart Car by Mercedez Benz, #SOSharks in 2013, Sennheiser and TAG Heuer.
Daniel was nominated as Best Presenter in Music at the Panasonic Awards. He was nominated three times as the best presenter in the same event , The Best Talent Show Presenter at the Panasonic Gobel Awards. And Daniel won The Panasonic Gobel Awards 2013 for the Best Talent Show Presenter Category.
