Best family devotions out there
Not too happy camper
I started listening to Daily Radio Bible a couple years ago, and now our entire family listens to the children's broadcast together in the evenings. Most devotionals for kids are heavy on the stories and light on Scripture, but Daily Radio Bible for kids fills them up with the Word first and a short devotional thought by Hunter at the end. And when he says, "Lord willing and the creek don't rise" or "You go forward in God's joy" or "You.are.loved," my kids all groan and laugh, but they love it. And so do I! Thank you, Hunter, and all our friends at DRB. You are planting seeds for eternity in my children's hearts.
Listening is a great way to go through the Bible!

I'm not a big reader- never have been. But I really enjoy listening to it - makes it come alive for me. Plus, the Gospel is meant to be PROCLAIMED and that's exactly what Hunter does. Sometimes when people read the Bible they can be either robotic or overly dramatic... but Hunter's got a gift, he's got a knack for finding that sweet spot & not falling into either extreme. And because of this (no disrespect to Hunter) it's God's Word that comes through clearly, not Hunter's word. Although I must say, Hunter's reflections at the end are always well said, encouraging, and to the point! Auditory learners and multi-taskers everywhere should give this a shot! I listen everyday as I get ready in the morning and sometimes as I commute.

Like the podcast. Like the structure. The app though could use improvements. Too many clicks to actually listen. The newsletter continues to pop off even though I've already registered which causes another click to remove it so I can listen.

Hunter is an AWESOME “Bible Coach” He reads the scripture with such enthusiasm and authenticity. I am looking forward to finishing the Bible this year with Hunter. I highly recommended this app for anyone who can’t seem to just read the Bible. Perhaps you should try listening to it.

My husband and I have been listening in daily since the start of the new year; sometimes together in the morning or on our own during the day. We haven’t missed a day yet. The app is simple, but works great and Hunter has a great reading voice. Love the reflections he shares and his little catch phrases “you are loved, no doubt about it!”
