Carb counter

Lilac bug

None of my reviews have been published. Atlas to can't find them! I've started using another app for food recording and use this one for weight, bp type recordings. I've had this app for several years and still had to use another app to get accurate nutritional information. Popular restaurants aren't listed and some that are, have wildly wrong carb counts. In addition, I look up a slice of papa johns pizza and it gives me a cup count! What's a "cup" of pizza!? I've asked every time I rate this app to please fix these problems and I'll rate higher.

Good App but need change to interface

This is a good app for blood glucose recording. However I think the blood glucose should be an option on the main menu instead of selecting it from the "More" sub menu.

Not happy

Well none of my reviews have been accepted , try one last time . App does not match the correct calories or carbs to any of the labels of my foods , and the fast food places I never heard of most of them , worst app I ever bought

Seriously disappointed I paid for this app

No import for food items. No scanner. No device import. Everything must be entered manually the 1st time.

I Love This App, However....

gaxguy

This app is really great for helping track carb intake (and other nutrition values), exercise time, weight, glucose readings, water consumption, blood pressure readings, Lipidpanel history, and medications. I have recently been diagnosed as a raging diabetic, so this is helping me track my progress and lifestyle changes. However, I have been using the app for about 9 days now and I have noticed a few bugs and some things that have made me question the accuracy of the built in nutritional data. For instance, I ate a few dry roasted, salted peanuts and found that the app had data for a 1 peanut serving (that was great since I just ate about 5 peanuts) and a 100 g serving. However, the 1 peanut serving had the same 585 calories and 13.5 g of carbs as the 100 g serving. No way I wanted to multiply the 1 peanuts serving numbers by 5 as my snack intake! I also noticed that a cup (unpacked) of golden seedless raisins are listed as having more cholesterol (462.5 g) than eggs. But when I search the internet for nutrition values of raisins, I find that raisins seem to have little or no cholesterol. I have compared nutrition labels of items I have in my house with what is listed in this app's database and often found disturbing differences, so I don't have a lot of confidence in the app in this regard. Fortunately I can put in custom entries with data I can verify. Another bug I have noticed is that if I go back and edit something from my food log (say, I failed to notice it put the meal as "Other" instead of "Breakfast" or "Lunch", so I go back to correct it), right after I save the change the app closes and I have to restart it. While it may seem like I am complaining, overall, I love this app. I almost ALWAYS have my iPhone with me so whenever I eat, drink, exercise, weigh myself, take meds, etc. I can track it. And there are reports available to give me and my doctor feedback on my activities I am the kind of guy who enjoys being able to track stuff and this app tracks so many aspects of my new (albeit, reluctantly forced) lifestyle that I am confident that I will have success reaching my nutritional and general health goals. I recommend this app... just take the nutritional database with 'a grain of salt'.

Tried them all - The Best

Wonderful !!!?

Does not synchronize with the iPad

Mystywaters

There are many very helpful elements that I like. It helps me with logging my food and medical data, but it does not synchronize with my iPad. That is a feature I would like to have.

For those who want a single full-featured app tracking your most significant health values and synchronize your results between/within many devices - e.g., iPhone & iPad, you will not find any app even close to the "Daily Carb Pro!!!!! Easy to document your results as frequent as YOU like AND SEND professional graphical reports via email. YOU NEED THIS APP!!!!!

This App Needs Some Work

busygal52

This app has potential, with some fixes. I like that everything could be in one app with the fully paid version on the iPhone. I chose this app because I have used the glucose companion by Maxwell Software for years and like it above others out there. Some features I just don't need, and that's ok, I mainly wanted the carb counting. But I'm finding that much of the database is incorrect and so I end up entering everything myself, which takes time. And the Touch ID for iPhone only works if you are syncing with the health app. If you turn the health app sync off, Touch ID also turns off (I see this was mentioned a YEAR ago!) Should be an easy fix!!! Too many apps want to sync with my health app, and it's just not needed - just give the option to turn it off without turning off Touch ID!! Last, I wanted to use on both my iPhone and iPad, but until they can sync in the cloud like my other apps, I won't pay for this on my iPad. The method of syncing needs to be constantly updated, rather than syncing automatically. Too cumbersome, when I'm already spending time entering my food when the database is incorrect. Some very obvious foods that a diabetic would eat aren't even in there. Database needs some work for sure.

Great App

Krankee

Lists restaurant nutrition info which is great for me because I travel. Lots of other features and trackers.
