My kids were bored and confused

We downloaded this game thinking it was going to be similar to some of the Toca Boca games they love. They were confused by the shape on the plate looking like a puzzle they should match with food, and no real purpose or end to the game. They kept waiting for something to happen, like to get to eat the food or serve it or something, but it was just piling food on a plate, then restarting.

My toddler loves this app! She loves being able to create food art. I feel that this app fosters her creative side. Also, she is able to work on her fine motor skills. The interface is very intuitive, my toddler is able to navigate the controls quite easily.

There are no protein options. How rounded is a meal of only fruits and vegetables. Need to expand.

It is a cute, play once or twice app, but not instructional enough or balanced. It is open ended, so can help creative kids visualize, but not having a direct purpose will confuse concrete thinkers. Also, not well balanced food-wise, so It cannot be used to reinforce healthy eating. Style without substance.
