This app works great on my iPhone but not on my iPad. On the iPad, for some reason there is no sound. I have to read the cards to my daughters. I'm not so great at making animal sounds. Things could be worse.

I downloaded this app for the German, but if you're looking for a cute app for English, go elsewhere. There are spelling errors and they use bizarre terms for animals, like yeanling (pardon?) and jack rabbit, when the translation is other languages is just rabbit. A jack rabbit is different from a regular rabbit, and I don't care to explain that level of complexity to a toddler. Also, you only get the animals section for free; everything else you have to pay for.
