Bad service

jinxcat2008

Games are low quality. Books were unable to hold my child's interest. Videos were lacking in teaching ability. My son did enjoy the app, but I would rather him spend time on higher quality, less pricey uses of screen time. The parent dashboard was practically useless. When I went to cancel the subscription the day before it was renewed, the company had been very vague as to how this could be done. Their website says there's three different options but there's really only one, and emailing them for help gave them enough time to charge me for a second month. Also, there is a 30 day free trial advertised on their website which is not advertised in the app or on the app store, so ultimately I should not have needed to pay anything for this junk.

awful service: Ripped off

Nikkymz

After purchasing a 1 year subscription I was unable to log into the app. Every time I tried to log in it would ask what subscription I would like. I already payed for a year. Contacted curious world and they had me uninstall, turn off iPad, reinstall and so on. Still didn't work. I am able to log into the website though. Tried the app on my phone. Same thing. Will not log me in. They told me it isn't their problem the problem is through Apple and iTunes. I contacted them and they said it's a third party App so it's the maker of the App who I need to contact again. I was passed from person to person. They are clueless at curious world. I deleted the App off of everything and stopped automatic renewal. This is the only App I have ever had an issue with. Terrible customer service. I was ripped off!!!

My kids love it!

RaspRoc

My kids love it. I hate it. I paid for a years worth. Now it won't let me sign in and access all the content I paid for. I've done all I know to do. Nothing fixes it. I'm down a lot of money and no app. Sucky.

Good investment

They fixed the major glitches. This reminds me of Netflix but for kids - with actual educational videos, plus games/books. Was hesitant to start paying but then decided to invest in it vs. getting a bunch of toys that end up being $$$

Subscription model is a crime.

CFreeman74

There are a few games for free, sure. But they put all the locked out games right there next to them. So the kids will see and beg, etc. And at $8 a month, that's just ridiculous. I would consider paying that once. But every month? parents: just find something else.

Huge hassle to cancel - beware!!

SauceyA

The app is okay - not enough to hold my sons attention for too long. He pretty much played the same two games over and over, which is not worth the over-priced monthly fee. I am very frustrated because cancelling my membership has been a huge hassle. I tried to call, but the customer service hours are limited. I tried to cancel myself online, but the website told me it couldn't process my request. I would not sign up for this app again - big mistake.

Frustrating-doesn't work w/o wifi

My sons loves this app, so I decided to surprise him with the paid version for a road trip. Beware-this doesn't work without an Internet connection! I'm so frustrated!! That should be super clear somewhere.

Impression and data

Kit Fry

Gave the impression it tailored content to the age of my child. Nothing of the sort occurs. It's just a free for all enough that my son avoids the games because he thinks he can't play them. Also there should be an option to check subscription through cell network but allow you to download the content. We mainly use this in the car and it's driving my data rate too high due only to our commute.

Good game
