my 4 year old can't get enough of this game. He loves making the cupcakes, putting in the ingredients ,mixing the batter, putting in oven, toppings. This game has it all. Great way to introduce your child to the kitchen. Plus you don't make a mess! Highly recommend this app for any youngster, keeps him entertained for long stretches at a time.

Our 6-year old was very frustrated when playing time management games. They were just too much for her. She really wanted to do well at them, but they were too demanding for her age. Now. she has a perfect solution: Cupcake Baker HD. As it says in the description, this game is meant for younger children. Those reviewers who complained that the game is a bit slow should bear that in mind ! The graphics are very nice, the speed of the game is well pitched to younger players, and there is enough variety to keep their interest as they progress through the game. There have already been a couple of updates, which have improved the game, and I look forward to new developments in the coming weeks and months. If you have a young one at home who wants to imitate the older kids playing the Dash series of games, or games like Sally's Studio, etc., this is a great way to start. Definitely recommended for the 2 dollar price tag.

The app keeps shutting down when I switch between the baking screen and the shop screen. It is very frustrating. The game would be fun if it worked.

It is a fun game...creative and using ingredients, mixing, picking out liners, icing and decor; then selling them. Even trips to market. one price fits all. CAREFUL: I was closing game and after building up hearts and COIN...I forgot to hit continue, which wiped out 25 trays of profit. Don't hit new game!!!! Otherwise, fun.

The description says that this app teaches kids how to use their money wisely, however the app is made to where the cupcakes actually cost much more to make than you can sell them for. Each batch of 6 cupcakes cost 17 coins and sell for 1-2 coins for each cupcake depending on if the same color can sit next to each other (don't like that either). Plus, in order for the app to work probably you need to add at least another chair and table. Am I missing something???
