Have had fun with this. Couple of items to be aware of. It appears there is no change in the pet after level four or five (God). That's kind of a bummer. Would have been nice if he would have risen or something similar. Also, the difficulty on the mini games is highly divergent but the rewards are not. You'll likely find one or two that you're decent at and can score points quickly with. Stick with those, there's no reward for punishing yourself with the others.
He doesn't level on iPhone

He won't level on iPhone. He has been stuck at infancy. I tried reinstalling it and starting over twice. Still won't level up. :( really upset it doesn't work because it's a cute concept.

The nostalgia factor of the game makes it great. It's like a tamagotchi with an adorable Cthulhu twist on it. The 8-bit style of the game is great and adds to the memories of my childhood. Definitely something to give a shot.

This game is garbage. It'll do okay because it has game boy styled graphics and a pointless Cthulhu theme but the mini games are garbage, the sounds and music are worse than garbage, and the game is just overall bad. Have some taste and don't just download something because it contains a character you've heard of.

Poor translation. Virtually no in app instruction. Obtuse use of icons to explain game mechanics. Horrible and abusive timer based advertising and it isn't even different. I've gotten the same advert every time. This is garbage.

I'm removing a star because the app has no instructions for how to care for Cthulhu or how to play the mini-games. That being said, this is a great virtual pet app. Cthulhu is very cute and fun to care for. All the pixel art is great. The mini-games are also very fun.
