Crystal Cave Classic Reviews

I've been waiting for a game like this. The graphics and sound effects are better than I've seen on similar games. So far the levels have been challenging and fun. I can't wait to solve them all. My only criticsm is that I haven't found a way to scroll around the level to investgate it without moving the man. The only way to see the whole board is by shrinking it down (zoom out). I debated about holding back a star for that but the rest of the play makes up for it.

Nice polished feel and look compared to similar games. I just know I'm gonna get f@cked on the 3.99 price though. This game will be 1.99 or less soon enough. :(

Fun game with lots of challenging puzzles. The tutorial levels at the start are the best I've seen & include arrows showing where to take your character. The graphics and colors choices are excellent. Some levels are pure strategy, others are a combo of some strategy & lots of split-second timing moves. Good game. However...the screen's position is a problem & prevents a 5-star rating, especially considering the purchase price. Only about 1/4 of the board shows unless you zoom out to a size of approx 1" x 1", a prob especially irritating on levels where timing is important. This is not acceptable as is, but if fixed, the game would easily be a 5-star!

This game is hours and hours of fun. The way the puzzles get gradually harder is perfect, but some of them seem impossible! I got it when it first came out and am still trying to finish the last few.

I love it. Really I do. I wish I could scroll across the screen though. Zooming in and out does make it annoying. So okay, you put out another great game. How about ARCHIBALD 2?? Come on guys!! I really need another adventure with that awesome little skatboarding dude. I have replayed the first one and even utilized the the wiping out of all completed levels more times than I can count. Please tell me your working on another adventure. I would gladly pay a premium for it!! Thats the most played game on my phone out of every game I have ever purchased. I finally just quit playing it because I had memorized all levels. 

This is a beautifully done game! The graphics are gorgeous, and the controls are excellent, as well as switchable for right or left handers. You are able to choose any level you wish without having to complete the previous level, which is just great if you get stuck on a level and wish to come back to it later--or never, for that matter. The musical score is exciting, and blends nicely with the ongoing action. I have purchased each of the Crystal Cave games and the Archibald game, and wish there were a dozen or two more just like them!!! These are swell games to just sit back, relax, enjoy the music, and put your thinking cap on! Try it!!!

I was waiting till I finished to write my review, but I eventually decided I would never finish, so I better not wait. I mean that in the best sense. Some of the levels are so complex that they defy closure. This app is hours and hours of intense, complicated thinking. An amazing bargain and tremendously smart. And it looks gorgeous on an iPad. I just wish there was another game out there that was as complex, deep and rewarding. I LOVE this game. C
