So, I downloaded it to check it out. When you first log on, it doesnt give you instructions. I blindly tried to do stuff by first tapping on the upper left, which gave me no info on how to use it (except what happens if I stop it from running in the background) and then I tried the obivous, writing in the entry line at the bottom next to encrypt. I type in a few words, put in a password, but it just went to a safari webpage, then asked me if I wanted to open the program up in the app-store. It took me to the app-store, but did nothing else. I was very confused so I tried it a few more times. Eventually, I had to go to youtube to look it up. You do have to type in the text line at the bottom, but what happened in the video did not happen for me. In the video it went to options that included text message! I don't know whats up but the app isnt working for me. I also do not like how the app interface looks either. I would give this app more stars, but since I can't use it it only gets 1-star. Anyone else have this issue?

But definitely has some issues. I like how the background moves and how you need a password to send messages. That's actually really cool. But it doesn't seem to work all that great. Maybe spend some time working out the kinks and this app would be wonderful

Crypto- chat provides a new service that needs to be available to the general public in this age. Privacy is a huge issue that needs to be accounted for through our messaging and crypto chat solves this problem. You have the ability to encrypt every message you send through the chat so that you can guarantee being untraceable during your direct messaging. I highly recommend this app to anyone that values their privacy.

This app has the features spot on according to what they claim anyway but this app could use some development in the UI, it feels dated and is not in line with the design language of iOS 7 or 8. The animated matrixes in the background are really cool and the chatting experience is great nonetheless.

Quite a few things done wrong in the app. First of all it's not a chat/instant messaging app. You write a message click the encrypt button and after you give it a keywork to encrypt it'll prompt you to either copy an ecrypted link or share it with your contacts, via sms, facebook, twitter or what have you. The link HAS to be opened on safari on an ios device with the chat app installed to read it. This all in theory. The actual service doesn't work. Whenever I tap the encypt button and input the password it sends me to the apps app store page, and the same happens when I want to decrypt a message, this makes the app useless. Lastly the fact that to chat you have to write the message, encypt it, copy the link, share the link and the other side has to do the reverse makes it a very slow method of communication. Many better apps out there. Take telegram for instance, you can set the messages to be deleted after 5 seconds of being opened.

Brillent app has a lot of great specs and features everyone should use it, tell a friend to tell a friend, who will tell their momma. LoL

This app is not a messaging app like I thought it was. When I first opened the app I was trying to figure out what the app really did but there is very little info to show you how to use it. Apparently you just type your message in- create a password and then you can encrypt what you typed and copy it or paste to social media...tacky design and not impressed.

When I first opened it, I was really excited to see all the movement and the background but once I typed something and clicked encrytped, it took me to a url. It is really useless and I really don't know what it is useful for.

This app has some cool possibilities for social media like Twitter, where organizations can widely distribute info to members without worrying about the content of the social media post. Unfortunately this app did not work for me as the app kept directing me to the App Store page for the app instead. Also the limitation to Safari and iOS is a disappointment for a potentially widely based service. The overall design was good but could use a sleeker and smoother feel.
