?LOCATION DATA HIGHLY INACCURATE ?

Since I downloaded this app on the first day that it was available, the location data has been very inaccurate. Even after I did the update today, it still is not reliable. I have an Apple phone not an android. I listen to the Governor everyday asking people to please download this app and use it but I’m afraid any information that may be needed from my device or anyone else’s will be useless for contact tracing purposes. The concept of this app is well intended but shame on the developers for not rolling this out with more precise data collection capabilities. After all that is one of the main goals of this app.

Location Data Not Accurate

The location tracking is a bit off. Today I went to the local Stop and Shop and the tracker has my location as going to a local ice cream place several blocks away. Even in my own home, if I go upstairs it registers as me going to my neighbors home. Lack of accuracy is going to be a big problem for any kind of meaningful contact tracing.

Two problems I have had. First, I estimate that 20-30% of locations identified are wrong. Second, and more troublesome is it eats up my battery. I am charging my phone two additional times per day, because battery percent was down to 30%. In the past my phone was plugged in at bedtime, and was good till bedtime the next day.

Version 1.5 deleted locations in my diary after 5 days rather than the advertised 20 days. That version also doesn’t allow scrolling on the diary main page so you can only see two option buttons. This appears to be completely untested like UHIP. When will they learn?

I love the app, but I would like to see where I’ve been. Is this only visible if your location is shared if you test positive?

The app is killing my battery. Other apps like Google Maps tracks my location in the background, yet doesn’t consume so much battery.

Cannot share my location diary to RIDOH

I use iphone SE and cannot share my location diary to RIDOH.. the button to agree/disagree did not appear at all on my phone. Its a nasty issue and beats the whole purpose.. I am pretty sure they did not test it in small display phones. And as other reviewers mentioned, the location data is incorrect, wrong address shown in almost all logged entries.

Location Tracker is Awful

The location tracker does not work. It will log me at completely different addresses daily when I just stay home. And when I go to stores it will log the store across the street instead of where I was.
