Very addicting

One player to another.

Started playing when I woke up at 8... still in bed at 11 playing. Can’t put it down. A little slow during the loading screens but if that’s the only flaw I can see, then the games perfect.

Awesome

The title said it all

Extremely well polished, with flaws

After sinking many hours into the game, I can safely say it’s addicting, fun and loaded with details. I will list the pros first. - Character Customization While you cannot personally customize your very own character, I feel enriched with options for my own personal team. What types of rings should they have? What weapons? What skills? Should I use this book on the hero? What berries? What soulbound weapon should I use? Should I buy this skin? Many, many options for pixel characters are apparent and valid here, and I am seriously impressed with how they were able to take a focus on decisions for your team. - Landscape & Enemies This isn’t the traditional fighting skeletons and goblins, you’re fighting 20 foot mechs, cold winter robot soldiers, corrupted heroes, giant ogres, giant sharks with anchors, even a giant hippopotamus thats on fire. They went insane with the enemy design and I love it. - For 3 Heroes, tons of stuff is going on I was first put off by only having three heroes to fight with, as I personally love seeing a lot going on for visual feedback. But they have went above and beyond for just three heroes. Almost any sort of skill or passive effect HAS a visual cue, even if it is small or big, it is noticeable. And they all stand out from each other, not to mention champions and goddesses helping you win the fight. For all the heroes that I have seen, I can safely say that all of them have a clear identity, theme and skill set that stands out from all the others. - Reasons to log on Wether it be exploration missions, the bakery, your daily quests or just the daily gift, I always make sure to log on every day and get the most I can out of the game for the day, and I am never dissapointed. Cons - Loading times An additional file download should be a one to four time thing, not almost every time I want to play Crusaders Quest. These downloads take upwards of 5-6 minutes, and while looking at a comic is cool, it is incredibly boring to look at the same story unfold and try and see if you can find small little details. Personally, i’d rather look at loading screens, weapons, characters, anything other than “YEW CANT PROMOTE ISABEL SHES A CONTRACT ONLY HERO” - Economy This game suffers greatly from an economic standpoint. As for currencies, I dont think the developers of the game know what they’re doing. Brigget Points are a useless currency in the game. If you’re starting out in the game, most likely you’re going to be using Briggite Points for retrying certain rng mechanics in the game. And by the point that you actually realize all of the items that the Briggite Shop could give you, your main source of getting these points is gone (aka leveling up) all of the things that are tied to Briggite points can easily be transfered to gems, and you can replace the contracts and weapon boxes with the preexisting items in the Gem Shop. Also, the House of Souls or whatever its called has no idea what to do with their currency. There are five different types of currency tied to House of Souls. There is iron, which is a healthy currency in the game. Then there is four different types of this powder/crystal that are given out in different quantities by completing the House of Souls, instead of just gradually giving you more of one currency the more you go up the levels. This House of Souls currency is tied to soulbound weapons, powerful weapons that are a staple for all heroes, as they enhance their passive skills heavily. Having four different currencies of the same type of material is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever seen in my whole entire life. Furthermore, eating food should not use gold. You’re literally eating food. This is not a restaurant, this is a case of killing bad dudes and getting more power. To pay for food, then pay more to eat it is cheap and unneccessary. I understand that the developers don’t want you to rack up millions of gold so you can use it whenever you want, but in this simple case, there is no possible way a fee of around 10-15k gold is a make or break between using your gold wisely or racking it up to a point where it doesnt matter. - Stamina Stamina is a heavy problem when it comes to games like this. Many of these RPG games have a stamina system, but insist on giving you hundreds upon thousands of this stamina, to a point where it literally does not matter. You can play whenever you want. And if you have a handful of friends, you can play days on end and still have enough for whenever you want. Crusaders Quest faces this same problem, currently I have 1500 stamina out of around 57, and I gain about 100-150 stamina daily through friends and daily quests. And periodically, i’ll get a daily reward that gives me around 600 stamina. And you know how much I use every day? Around 75-100. I believe the developers should use a similar formula to the dungeon keys. Dungeon keys are given at a rate of around 5, 10, 50 if you’re lucky. And even with stages only taking 1-3 keys, you will run out, because that’s where the events are. However, if you genuinely don’t play dungeons, you’ll rack them up and save them for a rainy day. I believe Stamina should recieve the same treatment and have rewards scattered across an even playing field. Instead of 50 stamina for 5 daily quests, do a premium contract. Instead of stamina for the exchange system with friends, do an array of items. Gear, iron, furniture for your house, fish points, map pieces, exp boosts if you’re lucky, etc. Maybe just get rid of stamina entirely and minimize rewards the more you play each day. Whatever the case may be, I hope stamina will be addressed in the near future. There are other problems with the game, but this app wont let me type anymore. Overall, this game is very well executed but has problems that need to be addressed.

Hell yeah great game to pass the time and plenty of rewards. No need to use real money.

Me epic swaggatron

I remember back a few years ago, when the original game came out. It used to be a turn based strategy game, and the new version is just as good. Great work devs!
