Fun

John Q

Enjoying it. Nifty dungeon/type turn based game. I miss those kinds of games. I could see some more storyline development into it though into the future...

Incomplete game that is too difficult

Criim

After paying $4 for the game, they want you to pay for for an expansion. Also, the game is way to hard and it starts over when you die.....no saving. Save your money until they fix this.

Great SRPG

CrystalCastlevanian

I love this game. It's challenging and there's lots to unlock. My -1 star complaint is the lack of a cloud save.

DLC bug since update

Ahvr4652

Ever since the last update, every time I try to enter Necropolis the game freezes and I am unable to open the game back up unless I start over. Needs to be fixed for iPhone 6 as well, not just 7. Love the game though. Will change review when fixed. **Updated** There is also a bug when completing the game. Every time I beat the final boss, the rest of the dialogue is frozen after the first screen. This didn't happen before the last update. Also, sometimes my 4th mercinary doesn't show up in battles...what's the deal? Please fix.

Fun and challenging

Ccpdx

Nice balance of basic gameplay, making it easy to start out, and progressively difficult combat to keep things from getting stale. The variety of NPCs help to mix up strategies. I'll be getting the DLC for sure.

DLC is almost completely non functional

Dan733

This is a fun game, but for how expensive it is it should be more stable. The dlc, which I paid three dollars for, crashes my game and corrupts the save file 3/5 playthroughs. I would NOT recommend you buy it until this issue is fixed. I'm playing on a 6s on 10.2.1

Fun adventure game

Trekkiechick

I enjoy switching up the companions and the DLC helps get to the end faster, however since the most recent update I do not get the end game text anymore.

Amazing game but bug fixes needed

Sjbfnamwtkfn

Fantastic game with lots of depth and replay value. Alas, I just completed it and once I defeated the final boss it just put me back outside the castle with no cutscene or ending and I can't move on the map... just screen locked. Kind of disappointed ?

Very fun and challenging

TempestTheFirst

Not an easy game but fun. Resources are scarce so strategy is key.

Fun tactical semi rogue-like game

RogueFun

It is not really a true rogue-like game as after your death, one thing does carry over as in any unlocked skills for your characters. Unlike in many role playing games, resting in an inn or by the campfire does not restore your health points. Instead what it does is remove the loss of combat damage as going too long without resting causes a hit to create less damage. It is a fair trade off for game balance to counter for the ability to carry over new skills. A enemy increase timer also is included so that by the time you reach the final boss if you delay too long your party will be swarmed with enemies. I also purchased the add on content which gives you another unlockable character and one area to go through. The one area does feel a bit short but repeated play throughs gets you some different bosses to fight as well as secret items for the characters which unlocks enhanced skills. You do have to remember to select the skill class your main character will start on. There are 3 to choose from, of which two can be unlocked. Same deal when recruiting new fighters as default mode is the first skill. You can not switch to a different skill during the game so choose wisely for your party! Selecting your party also requires some thought as you can not release a fighter to hire a new one once you hit the max size of your party. Overall a very fun and polished game that is probably not as hard as a true rogue-like would be which is a good thing for most people. As in any rogue-like the map is different every time and what items you can get as well. The same goes for who you can recruit as you can only select one from the inn in each new area you go into.
