The gameplay is smooth and very addicting; there is a lot of strategy involved because of the turn-by-turn gameplay. It looks like it hasn't been updated for almost 2 years, but it still runs flawlessly. Imagine what an update would do....

One of the very best ship battle games in the App Store. Fun story, great mechanics. All that souled only by the lack of Retina support and optimisation with the iPhone 5.

In my opinion, this is an excellent game for the most part. Combat is fun and simple, the setting is intriguing, etc. However, I can't help but feel that bungie has missed an opportunity for a great swashbuckling adventure RPG with, say, customizable ships, shops, and an overall world map. All in all a good game, and I look forward to the sequel.
