Enjoy the app but really needs graph like NK unit has. Too much info and no way to review it.

Best 50bucks I ever spent.

I started rowing 6 months ago and am now flat moving a hot little racing shell. a 1x. I decided it was time to figure out what was really going on. This does it. I am looking for gold in a head race and this helps me figure out very much what I do that allows the boat to go faster and what I do that slows it down. And I am old.

This app 'speaks to me'!

I am a totally blind rower - and for years had no way of getting any feedback except from others in the boat (which doesn't work in my single!) Now with SpeedCoach Mobile and the VoiceOver setttings I have my OWN SpeedCoach and it is AWESOME! I have even had interest from my sighted friends who don't want to look down at the SpeedCoach all the time, and so they are looking at getting this app - just because it has VoiceOver. Thanks so much for the developer (Tony) for making this possible and for considering ways to make it possible for me to race my single with little to no assistance. I really cannot express in words how wonderful this is.

Still great

Yes, still pricey, yes still doesn't upload to Concept2 or to multiple sport apps more commonly used in the US such as Runkeeper or MapMyFitness. It does sync with MapMyTracks quite nicely. I'm also using the Wahoo Bluetooth heart rate monitor with it. Forget the recommendations to use the NK soft pouch; if you value your iPhone, get a case from Lifeproof and stick it to your scull with velcro. The soft pouches (I didn't have one from NK) get near invisible punctures (although my phone still survived the water inside the pouch!)

Excellent app.

Does what it is supposed to do reliably.

Great App

Thanks for the continuous thoughtful upgrades.

Excellent

Worked great out of the box. I had a few kinks when I added Bad Elf Pro gps device and updates to software a couple of times, but I was able to iron out those issues using the troubleshooting help available on the app website. The troubleshooting help area of the site is really easy to use and thorough. Very often the developer of the app is a major part of the conversation and walks through layers of potential fixes until the problem is fixed. I was able to fix the issues I was having easily-similar issue easily searchable and fix was clearly explained. Plus the app is an excellent rowing tool. I'm finding new ways to incorporate it into my training-ways not previously possible with a traditional speed coach. There are many more stroke details available with the device, and the access to these meaningful measures while on the water is improving all the time. Plus I'm getting better at knowing how to use the data. I use the app every time I row. I have been using it for two years.

Great rowing app

This app works wonderfully. It does all the things that the dedicated SpeedCoach devices do, for a fraction of the cost. Very accurate with my splits and stroke rate. Works great with my Bluetooth HRM. Love that it logs all the workout data for transfer to a computer. Something for the future I would like to see is the stroke ratio, but not really needed.

Amazing

So helpful. I use it almost everyday at crew practice

Inconsistent Performance

I started off with CrewNerd Lite to see if the app was worth the price. After a few rows, I opted into the full version of CrewNerd and was initially very impressed. I liked the support for my Polar H7, which coupled with the tailorable Row/Paddle page, allowed me to see my strokes per minute (SPM) and heart rate in BPM. Unfortunately, the SPM and BPM are now working sporadically, which leads to a frustrating workout, especially when your coach is telling you to keep a specific SPM.
