The latest update made the font so small on the app, we can barely read it on our phones. Bring back the bigger font!

Poor system, extremely overpriced. System is cool when it works, but when it doesn’t work, nothing works and you are out of luck until the programmer can get over to fix it. Typically 2 or more weeks. We have a $250k+ system that I would expect to be flawless. Garbage, never works when it’s needed most. Almost always fails when we are entertaining.

Got it for my iPad and now I have to pay another $100 to use it on my iPhone with the same Apple ID? The interface is already slow, ugly, and unintuitive. It’s a complete scam.

Don’t listen to other reviewers that say their system doesn’t work. You need a good programmer and integrator to make Crestron work properly. Each system is unique and different and it programmed as such. Don’t blame Crestron for a poor programmer and integrator. Also you need a solid network for it to work properly. Have never had a single issue with this system as I am a programmer. Sick of complainers that don’t know how great Crestron is and blame Crestron. Programmers and installers make Crestron look bad. I’m giving it 4 stars only because it is not optimized for IPhone X yet. I’m sure it will at some point.

Degenerate company to charge $100 for an app where you have to use all of their hardware to work anyway. I can’t use the app on my iPad unless I use my parent’s account to download the app and restore purchases.

Have now paid $99 for a third time. Got a new phone and just wanted to reload program. They have huge balls charging me $99 even the first time after what I paid for the system. I have Savant in another home. Much better. Easier user interface. Stay away from Crestron. As far as developers, mine wanted hundreds of dollars, maybe over a thousand - I don’t recall to program the stupid remote to allow me to put my TV on timer to shut off automatically. Good luck with your Crestron programmers.

App works but is slow to load. Most annoyingly this app doesn’t support iOS features like 3D Touch so to do something simple like turn all lights off you have to open app, rotate phone, wait for it to finish loading then navigate to the right screen. Compare that to Apple Home where it’s one touch without even opening the app. And forget about support for AppleTV, we are still waiting for Crestron to add that. I don’t know how companies like Crestron can survive if they don’t step up their software game. Entry level home automation systems from Apple and Google may lack the cool Crestron hardware but their apps are far better than this effort.
Crestron work with Amazon Alexa

I have tried everything possible to set up control of my lights with this app thru Amazon Alexa and it simply does not work. I am able to control my Sonos music system as well as my Lutron shades with Alexa with no problem at all. My friend has a Lutron Caseta lighting system in his house that works with Amazon’s Alexa home control beautifully. For the cost of Crestron’s products it’s amazing that they don’t make their products work with other systems. They must make their products compatible with Alexa or Google Home control units or they will become obsolete in this industry. I hope they do as I have invested a lot in their systems, but if they don’t soon, I will be switching everything to Lutron as they work great with these home control systems like Alexa and Lutron has seen the “light”.
