Creating the ring tone was easy, but I've yet to figure out how to get them in the ringtones section.

Tried it, and it worked. Creating the ringtone was very easy, and I was very pleased that I could select music from my library on my phone. Getting the ringtone to operate on my phone wasn't exactly intuitive, but the video in the "Help" section walks you through precisely how to do it. I followed along with the video and it worked perfectly. For folks having trouble, I'd recommend watching the help video. It would be nice to be able to fine-tune the start time and duration of the ringtone; I found it a little difficult to get the start time lined up where I wanted it (e.g., lining it up at 0:38, removing my finger from the screen only to have start time shift to 0:40). Not a huge deal, but that tended to be a little frustrating and took some getting used to. Also, the resulting ring tones, once synced back into iTunes (and then to my phone), seem to be shifted by about one second. That might be something I'm doing wrong, but it happens every time I try it. But aside from those minor issues, the app works well, and as advertised. And again, the "Help" video was very useful. Well done.

It's awesome! It works well but I would like 40 second ringtones for free! And it does shift the time by a second sometimes but otherwise it's great!

U purchased this because it was free and I don't like the preloaded ringtones on my iPhone and the ones iTunes offers either. However nowhere does it mention I would be charged $9.99 a month by mobile carrier for the third party of motime!!

A great App, was very pleased once I figured out how to do it, only took like 5 mins to get it going. To those of you who don't understand how to make this work, re-watch the video it provides and stop down-rating this App just because you were too much of a dolt or w/o the patience to figure it out. Your density isn't the App's author's fault. This worked perfectly fine on my 3GS and works w/ the songs I didn't get from iTunes.

ITS a pretty good APP! I have an iPod touch and it works. I had a little bit of trouble downloading it but i can USe it now!!

It was the worst game ever!!!???when I made a ringtone I looked on my sounds and it was't their.I hope nobody buys it. ???????????????????????????????????????

Not so simple to use

Recording your unique ring tone is easy. Getting it to work requires too much work. In this day and age apps should work in one easy download. Too many steps involved to make it work. Great idea. Poor execution.

... They're either lazy or just dense. This is a great app. It's very easy to make a unique ringtone, and this version is FREE! You have to take a couple of steps to get it on your iPhone, but you have to do that with any app or website like Myxer. It is NOT THAT DIFFICULT. There is a handy little help section with a step by step tutorial video. I really don't understand why certain people have such a hard time figuring it out. I'm assuming, as said, they are either dense or just lazy. I love my new, personalized ringtones. :)
