SMART LOCK can control your lock with proximity mode, allowing your chest to automatically unlock when you are within Bluetooth ® range and automatically lock as you leave range- giving you have peace of mind that you did not forgot to lock your tool box.
Once in range the lock's tamper monitor will send notifications that your tool chest had been tampered with (while locked) alerting you to check your tool chest and tools. The app allows your to set the sensitivity from low to high based on your preference. It will also will keep a log of all lock, unlock, and tamper activity.
SMART LOCK Rapid Access mode also allows you to schedule a convenient time for your tool chest to lock or unlock when you are within range.

Se tranca y no habré, el App se frisa, no se actualiza dice error cada ves que se usa el App, aveces hay q quitar las baterías para q vuelva a trabajar, y lo caro q está las caja 2 veces a la garantía, podrían actualizar, ya que sigue saliendo nuevos celulares

So the phone has to be within a certain distance from the toolbox to even connect or use the features, to me that in its own is worthless. Not to mention I’ve had the same cannot update message pop up anytime I open the app. Guess I’m sticking with the old school lock and key??♂️??♂️

Well shame on me for buying the toolbox to begin with. Kmart err I mean Sears, has ruined everything Craftsman related, why would this be any different? It worked well the first month. Here we are a year or so later and the app hasn’t been updated, and generates errors everytime you open it. The tool box is nice but the lock app and auto locks are completly dead.

This thing is the worst. Every other week I have to replace the batteries and or reset either the top box or the bottom box because it doesn't update both locks or looses the IP address for the blue tooth connected device. Stick with manually opening and locking your boxes. Save the headache for something worthwhile.

After spending an hour trying to connect my toolbox after constant errors. I got it to work. Then after I updated my toolbox it won’t connect AT ALL. I was looking forward to this feature and I don’t know how to fix it.
