Great game ?

What the...

Ttraci

It’s waaay to hard to receive the prizes at the end of the levels. You can win the same level 5 times and still not receive the item you need to advance. That’s stupid! It’s just wasting the limited energy that they give you in the first place. Why? Who the hell knows...you’ve won that level 5 times over. Where’s the darn item? Not cool ?

So far so good

So far so good.

Empires

G-Ma43

Frustrating hen you continually clear a screen using your last turn to clear it and still don’t get the item you went to.

Rewards are lacking

Funtimes07

Vivid display of colors and graphics, however you do not get the reward you are looking for after multiple attempts!! So you waste the "energy" and still don't get the item you thought you would get after completing the task.

Timed puzzles

Mitzi@52

Refuse to do timed puzzles. I do puzzles to relax and a timer isn’t relaxing. Still enjoy the untimed puzzles and accept that I won’t be moving along.

Variety

PurpleFrog59

There is enough variety to the tasks and images that it hold my interest better than some other games.

Everything Knightime Blues says is true

Sharday12

After coming here to write a scathing review expressing my frustrations with this game, I saw and read Knightime Blues' review, which says pretty much exactly what I was going to say. The deep frustration takes a while to build, so the game is enjoyable for some period, but not long term. Games are supposed to be fun, not annoying. I am absolutely convinced this game is structured to require you to make sizeable purchases to keep progressing (e.g., 20 emeralds are $1.99, but some objects cost nearly twice that and you might need multiples of them). Buyer, beware!

A Nice Game, But Needs Changes!

I've played this game and several other puzzle games. And like many others it has some fun and entertaining features. But many of the puzzle levels and modes are impossible to complete without bonuses(boosters) or crystals(currency for buying boosters, extra moves etc). My main complaint is that game apps like this one, have no consideration for the fact that many of the players nowadays don't have an income that allows them to splurge and spend such high amounts of money on apps. Cradle Of Empires doesn't offer enough for players who have reluctantly spent money on Crystals more than once or twice. People used to be able to turn to game apps to relax and to put aside stressful issues like their income. But today majority of game and entertainment apps bombard players with reasons to spend money. But they don't really offer anything to make players feel like they didn't waste money on a game. I know developers need money to keep apps running, but I also know that they make money from advertisements(including ads watched in app), social media, and numerous amounts of players spending money, to name a few areas. Also faded mode isn't visually appealing in some structures like The Brewery because there are some pieces that are too similar in color and shape. This causes some eye strain for people like me with vision issues.

Just a pay to play game.

Justbugged

This has lots of potential. The game is well developed. However unless you are willing to pay lots of real money, it’s extremely slow and tedious to play. It took me more than a year to finally get connected with other players. There’s absolutely no way they let you win any of the extra games. Extra games use up energy that’s better spent on regular games. They clearly spend day# where there’s no way to win any game. It’s no wonder why people simply stop playing after the first 20 plus levels. I am tenacious, so I’m now playing at a significantly higher level than most players, still without paying to play the game is just tedious. It’s definitely more expensive to play than most people are willing to give.
