This application is not a substitute for proper training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation or choking aid but it is very useful for a quick review. We urge everyone to receive formal instruction in CPR and how to assist a choking victim--being trained may help you save a life. More information on CPR and choking aid may be found at learncpr.org.
The videos were produced with the assistance of the University of Washington, the Life Sciences Discovery Fund, the Medic One Foundation, King County Emergency Medical Services, the Seattle Fire Department, and the Laerdal Foundation for Acute Medicine. They, like us are convinced that teaching these life saving techniques to as many people as possible will save lives.
Go ahead. Download the app, share it with your friends, help people get trained.
** This version is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch. If you have an iPad, look for CPR & Choking for iPad in the iPad section of the store--it adds AED videos! **
Disponible en Español, buscar RCP & Asfixia.
This is a valuable tool that needs to be accessible but it hasn’t been updated in so long that it is no longer accessible on devices running iOS 11. Please update!
Very, very usefull, this can help somebody in the subway, or in other places. Must have!!!!!
The info is east and simple. I hope I never have to use it but it's a great feeling to know that if you need to, you will be ready.
Great app to quickly review the basics of CPR and Choking. Hope I never have to use it but if I do I'll be glad I installed! 5 stars!
Don't follow videos. Take a real class. U can end up injuring the victim even more by following the videos. Giving CPR on left side bad. Should have put in to get on ur knees when giving child Thrusts when choking. Most ppl don't think about that. Don't even let me go on about the infants!!
CPR is outdated. Please check with American Heart Association for the new recommendation.
This is excellent information to have at one's fingertips. I would highly recommend it for young parents, people who travel (especially with tour groups) and the general public.
