At AHCA, we aim to build upon educational and experiential bases of healthcare professionals and the public at large by developing curriculum (for healthcare-related courses) that provides theoretical background, practical hands-on experience and knowledge in the field.
Our nationally-approved health trainings, such as CPR and First Aid, are developed to enhance theory development, and provide continuing education and practice for individuals enrolled in our courses. Our course curriculum is continuously monitored and updated to adhere to changing national standards and research. Additionally, our instructors are trained by American Heart Association and OSHA, and include Nurse Planners who have attained their BSN and are current, practicing health care professionals.
We aim to continue to develop health trainings that are accurate, easy-to-understand and beneficial to the public. Our training is free to access and available on the web 24/7. We value continuing education and training for all individuals to provide for a healthier, responsible and better-educated society.
AHCA’s objective includes the promotion of collaborative research, and development and dissemination of new knowledge that will contribute to the health and emergency preparedness of individuals and communities.
American Healthcare Academy offers free courses, however it requires a payment to process your certification card after the course is completed and the quiz is passed. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.

It said sign up for free course but then you click and it is not free. My complaint isn’t paying, it’s saying it’s free when it isn’t. I used to be a CPR instructor and work on an ambulance but it was years ago. We also had defibrillators and drugs that make such a difference. I understand at least some courses teach chest compressions only. Would have been nice to see the changes. Try being honest with the cost.
Super easy to study, take the test and download the certificate.
Their recent updates are great; it was so easy for me to get my certification! This was so much easier than the old process of going somewhere to learn CPR. Love getting trained via an app. So much more convenient, affordable and a better way to learn!
