CousinCalc makes it very easy to determine the proper term for a relationship. Simply tap familiar relationship terms (like mother, sister, or aunt) just as if you were describing it to another person.
For example, to calculate the proper term for "my grandmother's sister's daughter," you simply tap Grandmother, Sister, and then Daughter and CousinCalc displays "First cousin once removed." It's that easy!
- Very intuitive and easy to use; just keep tapping the next relative. The current relationship term is always displayed.
- Calculates up to ten generations of separation.
I like this app cause I'm always forgeting how the whole first cousin once removed thing works. This app tells you who is what in relation to someonelse. It would be awesome if it saved the "tree" for each person so you could review it later. Maybe even add pictures of the person.
This app was unable to determine what should have been a very simple calculation - the relationship between my son and my cousin's son
I love this app, until it stopped working. It would instantly tell me how my sons are related to my nephew's sons who are about the same age. Unfortunately, it stopped working. Deleted and redownloaded with no success. App support non existent. ?
Bought it. Downloaded it. Can't open it. Should have read the reviews first.
Straightforward and easy to use. It calculates a linear relationship between one individual to another. Relationships cannot be saved for further reference. The help screen indicates an option to turn on grand/great relationships . Cannot find this option button in the new version.
