The top most section shows the title, as well as a search bar.
The middle section shows the list of all the countries. Tap on each row to learn the geographic details, its flag and other information about the selected country in the 'details' page.
The bottom section is the tab bar. It has 3 buttons. Tap on the left most button to change the background. This feature is more useful if the text blends with the background image and not clearly legible. Changing it to plain gold background would enhance the text visibility.
On the right there are 2 buttons. First button is to refresh the country list. The right most button activates / toggles the search bar on the top. When you do a search and cancel, the country list shows only the search result. In such case, to bring back the entire list, tap on the Refesh button.

A solid app for the price

When I needed information on Angola, I turned to Countries of the World Lite to figure out as much as I could while on the go, about this African nation of some 17 million people, and which is roughly twice the size of Texas.

App needs some improvements. For example, the Country of Brunei's location has the list of natural resources and industry, then it's repeated in the correct categories. There's no location option for the country. And some other countries have similar issues.
