literally the worst app ever. more and more features are becoming premium

downaloded this app at the start of the widget craze. i loved it!!! i thought the fonts were really cute and i liked the ability to put an image in the back and stuff. really great stuff. then, one day, they decided to remove the ability to put images in the bg of your countdowns (ie they made it premium), which was GENUINELY TERRIBLE. who makes a feature that was initially free for money? but i got over it; i put colors in the background instead and it was fine. one of my recent countdowns just finished, so i went to edit it (to count down to something else that’s upcoming). well, surprise!!! now, you can’t make your countdowns use the units “year,” “month,” and “week” unless you’re a premium user. are you actually serious? this event is 155 days away - 5 months, actually, which i have on my home screen now that i’ve switched to another app. it so frustrating that this great app decided to monetize all of its most integral features. once i’m done with my last countdown (which still has rhe months unit since i made it before this disastrous update and i haven’t edited it or anything recently), i’m def switching over to another app. you can literally get all of this for free using other apps so idk why they deuces to make people pay … like i honestly hate switching apps and i still like the fonts on this one a lot, but it’s just not worth it anymore. come on bro. stop succumbing to the allure of money

90% of the featured are only accessible to premium members, all of the good reviews are most likely from when more features were free, i’ve read some reviews and saw this one review of a user who used some features for free and came back to find out they cost money, and the developer response was just stupid. i dont think these developers care about anything but money

This is the only app I found that lets you have a widget without having to purchase anything! You can buy fancier ones if you want but you can customize a regular one for free

I’ll update my review if the problem gets fixed. For weeks now I get an error trying to make the background an image. So now my countdown is just ugly. I paid for the lifetime upgrade and now I’m mad I did. The app took away my custom background on my countdown and every time I go to add it back it says try later. I’m over it. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY UNTIL THIS IS FIXED. So disappointed.

i downloaded this app, excited for my birthday! i have downloaded many apps i’ve decided to try this one to try and find one that is no paying that i can make a widget for my home screen. once i downloaded it i was reading “how to use” and i was excited i thought this would be an app i could make a widget for free. but no. it said “3 days free then 7.99 fee” so i clicked continue thinking it’ll give me my 3 days free trial then tell me it was up and it’ll no longer be working or something, but it told me to type my password in to buy it! so quickly i deleted the app. 0/10 do NOT recommend
