I am updating my review to 5 stars. Having spent more time with this game I can say it ranks with the best turn based strategy games on the App Store. Up there with Hoplite, 868-hack etc. it's a hidden gem you need to discover!

Just picked this up since it has been compared to Hoplite et al. Definitely a cool little game, wouldn't necessarily consider it a rougelike but I'm enjoying it on my first several playthroughs. It seems like this has flown under the radar, so if you have any interest I'd say go for it!

A roguelike where you only move in one direction? Why am I so addicted to this game? After each level, more contraptions get added to make things harder for you, or you get a new perk that is good or bad. It makes for some interesting situations that mix up the gameplay a bit. Also, each time you progress further, your achievements unlock more perks. I'd love to see more content added to make the game longer and more complex.

What a great little game! Great retro pixel look. The premise of the game is simple, yet very fun. Bite-sized fun at a bite-sized price. Thanks Albert Lai for this gaming goodness tidbit. YUM!

Pretty neat game! Complexity is introduced gradually. (Some buttons are missing text on my 13" iPad, but only in menus. Game play is not affected.)

Simple mechanics, loads of fun

There's lots of fun to be had with this Brough-like game. Don't let the simple graphics fool you. Each board element moves in a predictable pattern. It's up to you to figure out how to use the tools at your disposal to triumph. Each crown changes the rule set slightly. Keep your wits about you so you don't make any missteps.
