VERY COOL but...
LaDanaWendy

I was a little hesitant -- an app for 7.99 but having purchased it, I'm glad I did! This app is laid out like a cookbook, the recipes are easy to follow and the nutritional information is outstanding! I'm really looking forward to making several of the recipes! Also, the "Add to Grocery List" option within the recipe is great but along that line, two very handy options are missing: Add to Favorites and Add to Meal Planner. Hopefully, they'll be added in the next update (along with a few more soup recipes...hint, hint, hint).

Just what I needed
Markkys

I was looking for an app that could make the kitchen a safe haven for a culinary dummy like myself. I've also finally begun trying to eat well. I should have known the brains of eat this not that would make things foolproof. Great recipes, easy to follow instructions, and the swap feature that makes me KNOW I'm doing something good for myself. Oh, did I mention it's beautifully designed? So many cooking apps are so ugly... They need to take a lesson.

Of Grocery Lists and Leftovers
SuplexCentral

I've cooked with the books in the past and love the recipes, but this format makes it so much easier when I'm shopping at the store and deciding what to make for the week. Also love the ability to switch number of people the recipe is prepared for (cook for two, but like to make extra so I can bring to work for lunch the next day).

Has Already Paid for Itself

I can't live without this app now. The grocery list feature is essential. The suggested lists are really well put together and they tell you exactly what to get and what to avoid. It used to be easier and less expensive for me to eat at these restaurants because I would buy so much crap at the grocery store that I didn't end up using, but this app has completely flipped my opinion on both grocery shopping and cooking.

Buy the Books Instead
cndcaligrl

The App is just a few (very few) of the cookbook's recipes. A waste of money if you already have the books...nothing new at all. Buy the books; you'll get more recipes as well as tips on what ingredients/brands are best. I really feel ripped off; hope they update this and add more soon.

Not complete ...
Sergiu Casian

Where are nutrition facts such as protein, carbs, ... It doesn't look proffessional enough . I'm a natural bodybuilder and this info is essential for me ! plus this book is affiliated with Mens Health magazine ! How come you gonna know the benefits of these foods i you don't know enough about them ! COME ON ... I'M WAITING FOR THE UPDATE

Very nice
BadKarma05

Neat layout, good information, but not enough to make it a 5 stars. It has potential so good reviews mean good updates!

Great App!

Very useful app!

Good not Great.
Sir Rey

Good idea, but maybe update will make this app. great like books. However, good idea when you are on the go or at the grocery store for ideas about what to make. Therefore, I would definitely buy it as a keeper and wait out for update.

Not worth $8
