Buggy af and borderline useless

Milleaus

I’ve consistently regretted downloading the app over using confluence on the mobile web browser, even though it’s not much better. You can’t zoom or read many of confluence’s own content formatting types. Need to view a table with more than a 3 columns? Get your microscope. Need to view a macro? FUGGETABOUTIT. Editing permissions? Don’t even think about it. Want to view in landscape? I hope you don’t have epilepsy because get ready for the strangest side view / screen-flashy buggy rave party you’ve ever seen. Back to the drawing board, folks!

It’s a new age..

Hacksaw Jim Duggan

And Confluence is a great example of the old age. WordPress has more functionality, formats, organization and features which doesn’t say much for either product in a world where usability and portability are everything. It’s become a cold storage that no employee has the heart to dig through to find actual documentation.

I use this app daily

This app just gets better with every update. I love me some confluence!!

Awesome!

My.4.cats!

I like getting my confluence updates on the mobile.

Embarrassingly limited functionality

Ok for reading, useless for any editing other than simple typing. Formatting menu erratic. Can’t guarantee that you will be able to choose paragraph or header styles. No super or subscripts. No markdown or wikimarkup for confluence macros. Markdown and wikimarkup for macros will not be parsed when publishing back to confluence, so you will still have to use the web editor to go back and retype everything the way it needs to be. So why even bother with this app?!

You need non-authenticated access to server... what!?

Abe Rad

I wish I could try this app. I give it 2 stars because of it's strange security practice but not 1 star because I'm hopeful that this could be fixed. The app requires that the confluence server allows for un-authenticated request to initiate log-on. This is a non-starter for my (and I believe many other's) IT departments. Non-authenticated requests would be a data leakage that "bad guys" could use to attempt to compromise the system. Many other systems that require info about a server would first authenticate then communicate the details that the client needs. I wish the Confluence app would do the same. The web implementation of Confluence is totally broken for iPAD. I had high hopes for this app, but until this gets fixed, I'll be stuck remoting into a desktop machine from the iPAD to edit confluence pages.

Page formatting glitch

My Failed Puppy Friend

I'm seeing a bug in the numbering formatting on a page I wrote through the web browser UI. What was numbers and lower case alpha letters in a notes list has become all numbers when viewed in the mobile app, e.g.: 1. 1. 2. 3. Very confusing visually! AND I can't edit my own page in the app?!

Doesn’t work

Not for business members

I’ve had the app for a couple month and every time I try to open the spaces to view documentation it just spins and spins.

Very Limited Editing Options

Daguerratype

You can choose a paragraph style and add a single level of bullet. And now an image. That’s about it. You can’t work with sections, add tables, add macros, create links, or generally do any of the things that help make a confluence page more functional then the basic Notes app. In fact Notes actually has more formatting features.

Issues login in and staying logged in

Dogor97

While this new version has some pretty cool features they’re opaqued by the annoyance of being kicked out of the app every couple of hours. Why can’t the session simply stay? I never used to have these problems but now using it is very difficult. If this keeps up it’ll be more convenient to use the web version and delete this app.
