Good but Flawed

Calilew

The pros: compulsively addictive; challenging; brain food; creative and engaging; options solo and multiplayer modes The cons: repeating tutorials in first levels (because it's necessary to replay often, Laney's nagging gets dull quirk); too few levels so you have to replay the same to gain experience; controls are a bit clunky; could really do with an UNDO (in same sense as emails' "unsend"). The glitch: In the last campaign level, it's possible to reach a stalemate that causes the game to freeze up (apparently Miranda hates losing and she stops action altogether when forced to play a card she doesn't want). This has happened twice so far--first Miranda froze trying to place a university card, second she just kept thinking--very frustrating because I had to restart game (I waited 30 minutes and still no AI progress ).

Amazing production values, great puzzle game

Cradoi0806

I love this game, and hate math. My job revolves around Socratic arguments and logic, but zero math most of the time. That being said, this is one of the most fun games involving numbers that I've played in a long time. Phenomenal voice acting, and an actually original game system. Been gaming since the early 90s, not since lemmings and desktop dungeons have I seen a puzzle game this deep that wasn't a knock off of Tetris or a match 3 game. By the way, the thing that I love the most about it, is that not once, did I have to say "...for a mobile game.". It's straight up good, go watch a video of gameplay before you buy though, might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Good port! Wonderful gameplay!

Thank you for the fixes in this update. I enjoyed the slow introductory to all of the game mechanics. I'm fully invested and intrigued by Concret Jungle.

Brilliant

Strategic fun puzzle solving game that has great replay value. Well worth the money and you don't have to worry about annoying in app purchases. It also has great caricatures along the way with hysterical dialogue.

awesome!

love the game. need more games like this

Great game - worth the price

MrPetkus

As others have noted, this is not a typical city building game. It's more a hybrid deck game with building elements. This turned out to be an excellent building/strategy/deck game with high production values. I'm more than happy to pay up front rather than deal with micro transactions. I feel good about this purchase and recommend.

It's a true gem

I was enraptured by this card-based strategy game. The graphics suit the game's design really well, & the campaign is addictively fun & challenging. This game deserves more attention!

Boring

Trying to line up houses and such to clear a column...boring!

Underrated gem

I'm a big time iOS gamer, and I think this is the deepest, most enjoyable puzzler I've seen on the platform in years. The many mechanics are rolled out slowly over time, and there are a variety of choices regarding how to build your deck - with new cards earned with experience. I also love the multiplayer feature. Wish TouchArcade and Pocket Gamer had given this one more love!

Card game puzzler - Highly recommended

Buffalo Ken

I've finished the campaign and really enjoyed it and would happily pay for more scripted matches. I've just started playing Custom games and hope to find good settings to allow for longterm replay-ability as I feel like there are many more strategies to explore. If you like card games and puzzlers, you should pick this up! Highly recommended.
