What you want?

Mauricio

Makes sense to fit a large magazine in an iPad? Depends what you’re looking for, if you want to save space, have 100s of issues on a letter size device, take screenshots, checking studio websites on the run, and read some good stuff here and there; then you have your answer. Enjoy!

Great Read

Waste of money

Imagine a large-format magazine, normally printed in smaller than usual type, shrunk down to the size of an iPad. Yep. Completely unreadable unless you reverse pinch to zoom it out, then you have to slide the pages left, right, up, and down to read them. Even Zinio offers better options than that. There's little more here than a PDF version of the magazine itself, locked in a fixed format with no ability to adjust for the size of the device it finds itself in. You'd think a magazine that spends so much of its space writing about working on the web would at least *try* and take advantage of the interactivity possibilities in a tablet, but no, they couldn't be bothered to do more than snap a picture of a magazine page, reduce it by 35% or so, and wave it in front of you. Utter crap. Complete waste of time and money. I'd have rated this as zero stars, but Apple won't let me go below one.

It's NOT free

Young Kim Studio

Hey, $hitheads. Don't say you mag is free when it isn't. I love you guys, but seriously, stop misleading your customers.

Expensive issues

Mybeardisred

You guys would get so many more purchases if you would offer samples or better descriptions of each issue

Rip-off!

GamerGenkisan

To think I'd pay such a price for a digital version of the magazine. I can't believe the high price they ask for each issue and subscription!

pure garbage

Crisphy Nanos

I was stupid enough to purchase the garbage application and issues. Now, the most current issue never downloads and simply says "waiting". The printed version of the magazine is much better. These clowns have a thing or two to learn about app development. Currently waiting for a refund. Don't waste you money on this p o s.

Fire the ux expert.

It's horrible to read on this app it's time to make something a bit more compatible for this device.

Terrible UI... poor attempt at iPhone App

The Bamajr

I've had a subscription to your printed magazine and I've bought it off the shelf at book stores. This digital copy is far less expensive than buying it off a bookseller's shelf and as a print subscription which I appreciate. However, the actual iPhone/iPad app leaves a lot to be desired. The UI is terrible. There is no integration with Safari, to easily navigate to a web link. The advertisement space is annoying in the mobile environment and takes up way too much real estate. Finally, had I known there would not be any way to get the disks, included with the printed edition and that I would not have access to the web site, as I do with a print subscription, I never would have subscribed to it via the App Store. I can tell you this much, I will not renew, until these options are made available.

Slow

Ducky01

Takes too long to render each page on retina iPad. Pages should be cached for faster switching.
