Expensive licensing was obtained to ensure that all word balloons, fonts, and effects added up to produce a look which resembled the comic book lettering from major publishers such as Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, etc.
• 11 different types of words balloons. Insert a shout balloon to convey deep seeded rage, a thought balloon to express innermost contemplation, or a caption to narrate the happenings in your photo. Resize or rotate your balloon, or change the color of its background, border, or text.
• 18 unique comic book fonts. Caption your photos with the same authentic, professional comic style lettering featured on the pages of Batman and other major comic book titles. The wide variety of unique type faces featured within the app allow you to express a full range of emotions when creating your masterpiece.
• Over 1,000 stickers, many of which change color. Add a cat sticker to your photo and change the color of its fur, eyes, nose, or, ears. Sticker categories include: animals, bugs, cars, characters, dinosaurs, effects, fishes, food, glasses, hats, masks, memes, monsters, mustaches, rages, sounds. and weapons.

I like the point of the app but if you don’t pay then it keeps spamming you with pop ups to pay for more things but I don’t want to pay, so then I hit no and two seconds later it’s back up again so I can’t do anything, if it allowed me to, I would definitely give this zero stars.

Good but with limitations

I agree with much of the review by: sevit is taken Aug 27 Now here’s my review: The word limitations on the free version really hamper this app. It works fine. But after typing a FEW characters, if you want more than approximately two words or so in your bubble, you have to buy the paid version. I found another app that was free and was significantly more generous. The paid version of this app might be good. But I was unable to FULLY check it out because of the limits that were imposed. I give credit to the hard work and effort of all those associated with this project. But IMHO, I would say let people explore all the capabilities of this program before requesting they purchase it.

You can’t even type a caption into a speech bubble unless you pay for the pro version. The moment you type more than four letters, it interrupts you with a warning that you have to pay for the app if you want to continue. Waste of my time downloading this. Premium features are fine, but at least let people try your app to decide if it’s worth paying for first.
Definitely a great little app

My partner and I have a comic series we write and before we had to use photoshop to get it made but this app made it 100 times better. It has a lot of great tools to make any comic you want. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because on the iPhone it has a tendency to slow down when you write a lot. The iPad is better for this app. Other then that we love it
